Barrio in the edge of Night.

After years of being a happy hood, came to an end this past weekend, when city and barrio leaders all decided to turn the Christmas light off and will consider turning them on sometime the first of June. The leaders gave several reasons and one was since it was the middle of the money folks don’t have that much money so there is really no need to keep them happy. But one of our barrio leaders told the city leaders now is the time to keep them happy. City and barrio leaders will meet today to see if they really is a need to keep them Christmas lights on all year round.

Happy Days are not here again.

Well as you all might already know that summer is just around the corner and barrio leaders have send letters to all westside resident letting them know that if you plan on using your air conditioner you better be prepare to pay your bill on time this year. In the past the city has allowed past bill not to be paid till a later date but not this year. We are having a hard time in keep up with the whole hood light bills and are at a point of getting the whole westside turned off if resident fail to comply. Please pay up or keep that thing off.

And finally Mothers Day’s!

It was the most quite Mother’s Day we have had in the last ten years. El constable  told us que there was almost no problems at all compared to other years, but did say que there were some calls but no big deals compared to past years.
