Kingsville, Texas. Hello raza I am General Fideo Vermcille con our 2016 Chicano Manifesto; Houston Livestock show 2016. The last few years we have had different Tejanos, chicanos, or even Latinos have emerged from the issue that has caused us to unite in some way or another. Not all the new leaders have followed thought with their efforts of making that livestock show more Tejano than Latino. And of course there could be lots of reasons why, but we have one reason, “self-imposed” for the betterment of one and not the other.

It’s so easy to post one’s concern regarding this matter and do expect to get over 1000 persons to agree but that’s it! That’s it is all we get, now we know where we stand and now we know que this 2016 is the same thing again. Who will emerge as the leader of this old but not a new movement, will it be a Tejano, a Chicano , a Latino, or just the same folks that got it going several years or decades ago, is the understatement of 2015.

What have we learned? I ask? Well a lot, I know for sure that there will be those that will step up and help us gather more movement about this ordeal and will remind us que la raza is always going to follow that route regardless if it’s an issue anymore. But let us not be despaired.

The more we try the less it seemed that many will follow this trend, so Raza get your drug store cowboy hat on and those garage sale cowboy boots on and declare with all your’ might que the Houston Livestock show isn’t Tejano.  And then stay tune for someone else to declare it in 2017.2018.2019 etc…. we don’t stand alone but we do stand tall and understand que it only takes a few to get the headline for that year. This year,2016, could it be you or you or him or her…. The drama continues …
