Kingsville, TX. Hello again I am David Duran con today’s award winning barrio headline news:

Two old man get fired.

Tejano get together launch public service announcement.

And finally some good news.

As you might already know that “the rain in Spain doesn’t really stay in the plains”, a one act play written and produced by our own barrio author, Julio Moreno Gonzales Garza Garica, a recent barrio community college graduate.  Ben, is his nickname told us que he is very excited about this one act play que he was able to write and produce in 5 minutes. I love this idea and really hope que many of the barrio  resident come and watch the grand opening, the date has not been posted yet due to a few problems with finding a location to show it, he says.

Let me put the finger on you committee a well known Tejano group were very proud of the new public announcement that their group will help people do their income tax this year. Even if the dateline has pasted says the leader, Russell Rufus Redneck, we still have lots of seniors in the hood that can be added to your barrio income tax. If interested please read the fine print on the announcement.

Yesterday several old guys were fired from the Westinghouse barrio mall for going overboard with their welcome wagon service. You see the mall hires senior to help around the mall and well know just having old people around was a cool idea until yesterday when a few old guys took their job a bit too serious. The problem was when they tried to help a few young women in selecting a bathing suit for this coming summer. The odd part was when both men showed the women the g-stings they were both wearing. These caused a big uproar, and were reported to the mall management and we forced to leave the mall area. No word if they will be rehired.

Ok raza have a great Tejano day.

Kingsville, TX. Hello again I am bill Diaz con today’s award winning barrio headline news:

Seven arrested at Tejano anti gay rally.

Fight breaks out at the young baseball.

And finally so darn good news.

Well it finally rained this week and made a few residents go a bit crazy by going and standing on there front yard half naked and chatting some weird words. But the time el constable showed up them folks were drenched and almost naked. The constable was force to come out of his 1979 ford whatever cop car to ask them what was going on. Before the constable could finish his statement, he was  knocked down and rolling in the mud with this bunch of locos. Charges are pending once el  constable is released from the medical center and all the mud is removed from inside his head.. hejola.

Why do parents believe that their child is the only child that can’t hit a rubber ball from a tee? That was the case this past weekend when la family Garcia youngest child 3 years old threw the bat after he swung at a plastic ball sitting on a tee at least 25 times. The umpire in charge, sergeant B, a well known umpire who is known for giving children a few swings at the tee was attacked by coaches, a manger, three women, and one grandmother on his way out of the field. He was taken to st. Paul’s medical center for treatment and to see if he could get that darn tee out of his …… charges are pending.

Yesterday el constable had no choice but to arrest several Tejano that didn’t believe there were any gay conjuntos or gay conjunto bars in the hood (please note there are). The group decided to picket the oldest Tejano gay bar in the hood “two tons of fun”. At the owners requested he demanded that all those haters needed to get off his property, but when they refused el constable came around and sprayed all the protesters con cold water and some didn’t still wanted to leave. So the constable was force to arrest at least 7 haters, three ducks, two chickens, and a handful of dogs and cats. Charges are pending to determine who the animals belonged to.

Ok raza have a great Tejano day.

Kingsville, tx. Once again I am Bill Diaz con today’s award winning barrio headline news.

Barrio vato arrested for dressing like la commadre.

Ten chickens arrested at the edge of night.

And finally some good news.

La commadre maria Gomez announced today que her little boy, Junior, age 47 had just graduated for beauty hair dressing school from the Westinghouse barrio mall. Now la commadre Maria says que her little boy can cut hair with a license and has not to worry about getting arrested again. Just for the record, her son had been arrested several times for cutting hair without any kind of licenses and had at one time cut a man’s ear off when he moved from the chair due to the fact que, he, junior,  the barber was being raided. Congratulations junior.

El constable cadena was called to the edge of the barrio city limits when several folks reported que they had seen at least ten chickens roaming around at the edge of night. When the constable got to the edge of night, some of the chickens recognized el constable patrol car and made a run for it. After the dust settled el constable was able to catch at least two chickens and a duck from nowhere. The chickens were arrested and taken in for questioning.

Yesterday el compadre Juanito de la rosa, was arrested in front of the Westinghouse barrio mall dress la the commadre next door. What got him arrested was not for what he stand for, but was arrested when his prima, la commadre, noticed que he was wearing a dress she had reported stolen a few days ago. When el constable cadena got there he did notice que he was wearing something similar to what had been reported stolen. Charges are pending to see if la commadre can still fit in the dress she claimed stolen.

Ok raza have a great day.

Kingsville,tx. Hello folks my name is General Fideo Veremcille con today’s award winning barrio headline new:

Barrio prepare for invasion.

Two men and ten chickens arrested.

And finally some good news.

Yes once and for all men and women and children and dogs and cats and any house pet you might have, have been invited to this year’s barrio round up. The annual round up is when all the barrio residents are asked to attend this very informational meeting.

Again another attempt to escape was spoiled by owners of el barrio chicken farm, when they discovered que two men had lead at least ten chickens out of the holding area and were on the run. They didn’t get   too far says el constable cadena after he appended them about 200 yards from the holding area. Charges will be filed against these two men and at least three of them chickens will be slaughter for tonight’s dinner.

Yesterday afternoon a call to arms was made by el constable cadena to let the hood know que the invasion had started and that everyone and everything should be prepared for this all out invasion. The constable was quick to point out que he was not sure what was the invasion was all about but it’s coming.

Ok raza have a nice Tejano day.

Kingsville, tx.hello again raza I am Bill Diaz con our award winning barrio headline news:

Vato’s loco volunteer firefighter fun raiser.

Bad debt brings good news.

And finally some real good news.

It was a matter of time that those two groups in the hood that hate everything had its members arrested after they tried to stop the opening of a new Tejano gay bar. We just can’t allow that kind of people to enjoy our rich and culture traditional music, they are going to ruin the whole onda things. How in the world can two men or two women dance Tejano? The bar is still schedule to open this weekend, oh by the way the new bar has no name yet.

Yesterday la familia Munoz were trying to see if they could get some kind of educational loan for their youngest son Juan Munoz, age 58, it seems that all this family have bad credit and didn’t realize que college loans don’t do a credit check which was the good news.  Now the father Munoz senior, age 78 can now depend on that student loan que his youngest son is going to get to be able to purchase that giant 22 inch t.v. good luck in school Juan.

This coming weekend, our local locos volunteer fire fighters will be standing at the corner of third and wells collecting donation in order to purchase fire alarms for every barrio home. The idea behind this says the main loco que we are asking for donation to purchase instant popcorn pans to serve as barrio home fire alarms. The way it works he says is if the house get hot enough and is on fire there are two things that are going to happen, one is if you smell the popcorn you then know that your home is on fire, and now if you here the popping they you know que the house is on fire. The locos hope to get enough donation to purchase at least 250 packages.

Well raza have a great Tejano day.

Barrio stock market report for 0419213.
Cchwnn.
Kingsville,tx. Urbano yosabatodo (was on vacation ) HEY RAZA. I made it back from my non paid vacation.. you see we don’t get paid here nor any kind of benefits so what does this all mean, it means that our creator doesn’t have to think that hard…
Anyhow we found if very interesting hitting the road.. we stopped at several cantinas on our way to where we were going and found that many still have jukeboxes and play mucha musica tejana, and you will meet some of the most of the niceness drunks still hang around.
We did discover that when you order breakfast at small restaurants they are very picky on how you want your egg and bean taquito..let me explain, you see if you don’t tell them that you want the bean and the egg cooked separated, then they will give it too you already mixed.. then it is possible that you might not get all the egg ….
Now for our award winning barrio stock market report :

Los taquitos are stable this month with a small chance of increase for the xmas season, it seems that many small town restaurants are going bankrupt due to the freeways.. when you go around a town, someone has to lose.. the price one pays for progress…. Hejolia, ended the week at $1.65.

Las tamales are rapidly increase in price as we get closer to xmas… yes raza its that time again to offer that highly seasoned Mexican dish made of fried chopped meat and crushed peppers rolled in cornmeal dough, wrapped in corn husks, and steamed… yes, I can see la comadre staying up all night making this great dish, and saving a buck…. From $6 to $8.00 a dozen , yes, raza buy them now if you can get them cheaper, raza buy buy buy…

Las empanadas are still at .89 cents each and a survey of 50 Hispanics at a local major store were asked what happened to the 4 for a dollar… the major answer, “ hey dude where’s my car” ,,huh … it turned out that the majority of the folks asked were more concern of finding where they had parked their car instead of the price of this great desert… hejolia

And finally that market we can’t talk about well took a dip for the worse, it seems that DEA and other special agents were in the hood looking around.. so our study shows on our charts that the price will take a dip for the worse.. since many connections will be out of business for a while.. when it comes to quality health care, where is that vato loco at ?
And that non label beer was on sale this weekend at uncle tom’s corner store.. he was selling six packs at $5.00 and get one free… well the store sold out in two hours… raza cant you add… they go at a regular price of 2.65 per six pack.. and now $5.00 a six pack and get one free.. hejolia cant add to good can we… well raza that is it for today..
Glad to be back and a big hello to all the big spenders, and to those urban cowboys that wear cowboy hats inside a dance hall, hey take it off man an show some respect… ( old school ) cowboys de tu corner drug store….and yes girl you go ahead an wear those white shoes, they look pretty especially if that’s the only pair you got… and those vatos trying to give women ideas on what to wear seasonal or not, its non of your business, hey your mother still tells you what to wear dude….. “ if you cant eat it don’t buy it”

hejola report for 04102013

Hejola report for 04102012.

Cchwnn.

Kingsville, TX.  Once again I am bill Diaz con today’s award winning barrio headline news. But first off all let’s take time an thank Maria la vandia who is our roaming  alley report con the great work she has been doing this past few years. Now let’s get back to that award winning headline news:

Andrew Dominquez Cantu arrested for his skills.

Vato arrested for misuse of his rectum.

And finally, barrio homeless meals for free shut down.

It seemed like a good ideal back a few months ago where homeless folks could come over to the barrio only homeless meals depot for free, was shut down late last night. The owner Hi jo Joe, said that at the being of this barrio homeless meals, he thought he could feed 65% of the homeless folks that live in the barrio for less than $2. 00 a day, but con todo esto que los prices have being going up so fast que he figure  if he charged the homeless the differences, which made $2. 35 cent a day. Well many restaurant owners and store owners didn’t like that at all, so they filed a complaint again Mr. ho for misleading the homeless. Oh by the way, the homeless will still be homeless and will be force to eat cookies made from dirt. Pesse hejola.

Now before you blow this out of hand or tell me what the hell is wrong con my world, el primo Rolando gomez, was arrested and face charges of trafficking in stolen property, but it seems que esta vato must have been in jail before. But when he searched at the local jail, the jailer noticed que esta vato wanted to go to the bathroom. Once there he was restrain by several officers that noticed que he was walking kinda weird. Once he was restrain, the officers called the 811 barrio vato locos  volunteer firefighters were able to pull the following items from his rectum: syringes, matches, 2 lighters, a $20. Of heroin, several grams of marijuana, assortment of pills,  his lone star card, a mobile phone, and its charger, and a pager. Additional charges will be filed, his rectum was release on its own merits.  Give your ass a break man.

And finally, Yesterday afternoon mall manager and owner Gloria Guerra called in the constable to come and arrest or remove esta way drew from the front door of the mall. Esta way Dominquez has a weird act, which is he hammers nails into his foot, which he does to collect tips from customers. The reason why Gloria called the cops was due too the bleeding results from this little act.   El constable said that they could ask him to leave the grounds but couldn’t arrest him for this very painful act.

Ok raza  have a great day,

Kingsville,tx. Hello I am Bill Diaz con today’s award winning barrio headline news:

Fight breaks out at past super bowl barrio party.

Barrio man arrested for using some bad letters.

And finally gay recruitment is down.

Yesterday afternoon was the first meeting of the musical “boys will be girls and girls will be boys”.  Only about ten gay persons shown interested in being this barrio Broadway show, Veronica Lebanese tells us que another meeting will be held next week for those still interested in being part of the show.

It seems que no one really took the idea serious but by not using certain letters can make things a bit difficult, but it is true. Joe blow was arrested and later released for using the letters f. f. n. m. and we were not us if the q letter was used. We are still investigating this matter.

And finally It seemed que the hood might have just made it without an big thing going this weekend. But leave it to the ruiz family at the corner of third and wells. It seems que the Ruiz family was having a belated super bowl party when one of the folks from across the street fired a bottle rocket to show some emotion due a touchdown. Well as you might have accepted que the bottle rocket didn’t really go up but instead headed right towards the ruiz party. Three persons were taken to the st. paul’s medical for some  burn treatments. The so call celebration firework rocketed right into the gas can that was sitting along the fence and initiated it . Charges will be filled and arrest are still pending.

Ok raza there you have it , have a great Tejano day.

hejola report for 04082013

Hejola report for 04082013.

Cchwnn.

Kingsville, TX. Hello sport fans como estan I am Frankie tuxedo zuniga, bill Diaz is on vacation.

Well it seems like things are going be alright for all you lonely people that do belong somewhere. Where would we all be if we weren’t lonely? Crazy and now for our barrio headline news;

Barrio member protest low income housing project idea.

Ten new streets lights replaced.

And finally whole family arrested for false spiral image.

La familia Garcia were all arrested this past weekend on a raid for displaying a false spiral image that was crying con tears coming from her left eye. After a few undercover constables visited the image they noticed a small plastic tube coming out behind the image. Once the undercover questioned the family, they shut thy down door to that room where it was standing. After a search warrant was issued they did notice it was rigged. All the family members were taken to jail and charges will be filed. A point of interest , all the funds and fees charged will be returned,, I think..

The barrio leaders finally got their wish, a new set of ten street lights were replaced and proud to know que we could see the streets again, and safe says el primo ocha, one of many barrio leaders. Oh yea its about time, our next goal is to replace ten street signal lights.

And finally about 3 barrio members, 10 dogs, 22 cats, or less protested yesterday meeting where the leaders from across the tracks are thinking of building some housing on this for their side of the tracks members. Once the plan was disclosed it turned out que across the tracks was not going to be across the tracks anymore. Now it seems que when someone says que people from across the tracks, was actually going to be seven blocks inside our side of the tracks. Another public hearing will be held in two weeks..

Ok raza there you have it for today, have a great Tejano day.

barrio stock market report for 04052013

barrio stock market report for 04052013.

cchwnn.

Kingsville,tx.  Hello once again como estan I am urbano yosabatodo con this week’s barrio stock market report.

First of all on the serious note, barrio stock market report is on its fifth year providing raza consumers con the best darn investment information available on the barrio net for barrio folks. For real folks, we assure you que your investments is our barrio concern, but always remember, our slogan “if you can’t eat it don’t buy it….”.Now for that barrio stock market report:

Los tamales: First and foremost, los tamales market is a completely independent market that is monitor by the two ways, a person who can buy or  make them yourself or a home or buys them at a major chain store. Los tamales, "Business in most hoods or barrios continued to express concern over the rising costs of masa  and other stuff you use to make them," the report said, although tamale brokers say que manufacturers and business service providers were able to pass along "part -- if not all -- of these cost increases along to their customers, si that’s you and me.  And since a lot of holidays are just around the corner we do encourage folks to buy them  now at a reasonable price and not wait for the projected increase coming in a few weeks. Tamales remain stable at $5.50 a dozen. Nobody cares more about your wealth and the future of your interest in buying and eating tamales then , we sure do.

Los taquitos: Los taquitos , The high price of taquitos we noticed this week is due to the fact que el barrio  inflation has increased by at least 20 percent for the end of this quarter compared to last year.  The report published by los dos brother lopez  associates a few weeks ago, suggested que  an  increases in wages for some and  very few for others, that more and more barrio folks will be eating at home for sure, and we will see a decrease on retail prices "generally speaking they will subdued," the lopez report  said. At this time taquitos remain $1.35 cents each , cup of coffee is extra. By the way how many refills can a person get anyhow?

Las empanadas:  currently, las empanada makers are going to be required only to product-limited amounts due the high prices of pumpkins, sweet potatoes and pineapples. In addition our empanada war of 2006 has made some major chances con estos companies here in the hood.

Last fall, Consumers were very patient along con some advocacy groups increased pressure on trying to bring empandes down to four for a dollar, and more filling in them. Which both you and I know they won’t happen. The price of empanadas is $.89 cents each, and will remain stable for the rest of this quarter.

Cheap beer: cheap beer went down a bit this past week. We found singles at the lowest yet this year, $1.19 cent each. Six-packs remain stable at $3.95 a six pack. Real beer just above, $5.50 a six pack.

La barbacoa de cavesa: La barbacoa de cavesa has done real good here in the last few weeks. It seems que its has not  taken the  challenge serious this year from those darn llama growers. Now for la raza that own livestock, they won’t worry too much, since the production on llamas meat won’t start effect them  soon. One vato says que it will take several years before, if not longer que la llama meat has an impact in the hood. La barbacoa de cavesa ended the week at all time high $7.00 lb.

Barrio want ads:

M/0303d45 lost two tires while car was parked. Small reward for returns or better offer.

M/0306e46 small birds and small squires for sale. Come by and horn one long honk. Real cheap, you name price. Don’t tell anybody if you came by, ok, and make sure it’s one long honk.

M/0306t34 ten pairs of barely used jogging shoes for sale or trade. Found shoes on the street and no one claimed them. Some look good and others smell bad, buy separate or the whole lot.

M/0306t38 nice set of used furniture, several chairs and large sofas. Have been sitting out side less than a year. Still look good if not frames can be reused. Will take best offer or trade for goats or sheep and a few chickens. No llamas.

M/0303d45: two tires for sale from a  small car, not sure what size, make offer.

M/0306t36 : used men clothing and suits. Size 45 to 65. make offer for the whole lot.

M/0306t38:  Will take best offer or trade for goats or sheep and a few chickens for several bikes I have . some need minor repairs and could be used for parts, some bikes flat on the bottom. No llamas please.

Realtors report:

Well folks it’s time to get those garage sales signs up and we are encouraging those that stopped selling stuff to bring them out and lets get to it.

Thanks raza, if you drink do drive and if you don’t drink maybe you should.

exclusive interivew with Xavier Chavarrilla del Tejano Glober Awards, 2013

Exclusive interview with the Xavier Chavarrilla del Tejano Globe Awards, 2013.
Cchwnn.
Somewhere in San Antonio, texas. Hello again my name is Blanca Blancha Blanco con on the road again interviews. This week our bicycle takes us up to the san anto to visit con Xavier Chavarrilla, con Tejano Globe Awards, and now for that interview.

1. Bbb: hello Xavier como estan can you give me a big hand off this bicycle?

2. Bbb: first of all sir thanks for taking time from your busy schedule to allow this interview. Let start from the beginning and how did Tejano Globe Awards come about and why?
Xc; it came about when Lillian Ham, the President & CEO of Fox Music USA and Founder of the TEJANO GLOBE AWARDS, had a vision and wanted to somehow further embellish the many talents of our genre. Her vision came to light on October 11, 2012.

3. BBB; do you feel that your awards can make an impact of providing new and older Tejano groups some exposure to different musical opportunities
Xc; Yes. We are making a major impact on the new and established Tejano artist.

4. Bbb: do you feel that la onda tejana is better off now than what it was 5 years ago?
Xc: Most definitely. If you look at the new and established artists of today, they have tripled in numbers; with social media, we have more internet radio stations that are being heard across the globe. To have artist being heard in places like Iraq, Afghanistan, Japan, Canada and beyond, Tejano artists can now say that their music has gone global.

5. Bbb: what criteria do you use to determine whom to offer and nomination a group or person and is there a fee?
Xc; Every category has a criteria. The board of advisors of the TEJANO GLOBE AWARDS has established a criteria for each category. It is the advisory board’s responsibility to find four nominees for each category; so, therefore, I do not choose a group or person to be nominated. The TEJANO GLOBE AWARDS has never had a fee and we are not about to start now or ever.

6. Bbb; is the Tejano Globe Awards a no profit group and where to the profits if any, go to?
Xc; The TEJANO GLOBE AWARDS is a business. It is for profit and like any other business; it costs money to put on an award event of this caliber. Any and all profits will be designated for next year’s awards show, year after year.

7. Bbb; what will be different for the Tejano Globe Awards this year from last year?
Xc; Where do I begin? Last year, I was the TEJANO GLOBE AWARDS spokesperson. This year, I am the event coordinator and spokesperson. The president & CEO, Lillian Ham, asked if I would take over the show and run her business for the TEJANO GLOBE AWARDS side as needed to make it a success. So, I hand-picked an advisory board this year that was extremely knowledgeable of the Tejano industry. To make it a true, legitimate award show, we emplaced criteria that must be met for each category. We have established new categories this year, from last year. Last year, we had less than ten, this year we have over 20 categories. Right now, as this interview is being conducted, we have sent out the criteria and categories to artists that have requested to be considered for the 2013 TEJANO GLOBE AWARDS and I am very pleased to announce that the submissions have surpassed last years’ numbers already and all artists that are interested, have a deadline of July 31, 2013 to submit their work. So, in a nutshell, the big differences are more categories, more artists, more Tejano entertainment, and last but not least, more fans will enjoy the biggest Tejano award show imaginable with more surprises to follow.

8. Bbb; do you think the Tejano industry should worry about the other major music awards that don’t recognize Tejano music as a category by itself?
Xc; If you are insinuating the major music awards, such as the Grammy’s, then yes, we at the TEJANO GLOBE AWARDS worry about major music award shows that DO NOT recognize Tejano as its own category.

9. Bbb: if I plan on attending this year’s program, and I arrive a day earlier, is there any pre programs to see while I am there?
Xc; The city of Houston, TX and surround towns/suburbs have great venues to attend with live music & DJ’s. I would strongly suggest checking the local Tejano hotspots to see what is available to your liking.

10. Bbb; if you have the chance to speak with a group of young people wanting to get into the music business, what encouraging words would you tell them about la onda tejana?
Xc: First and foremost, keep your education going. The most powerful Tejano is an educated Tejano! Don’t let your haters bring you down. Surround yourself with good people at all times. If you’re in it for the money and not for the art of the music, then you’re in the wrong business. Be true to yourself and work diligently & everything will fall in place.

11. Bbb: and finally sir what would you like to tell all your fans from around the world?
Xc;
The Tejano Globe Awards does this because of the great talent in this genre that deserves to be recognized. We have to give credit where credit is due; there is so much talent out there. We are not trying to compete with any other award shows; we are just showing our gratitude to these great artists that put their lives on hold to entertain us year after year. These Artists sacrifice their family time to entertain us their fans. They miss birthdays, weddings, graduations, anniversaries, & so much more. The Tejano Globe Awards wants to produce a show of great magnitude that is deserving of this Artist their Families, & Fans. I would like for them to sit back in their seats and say "Wow they did this show for us." at the end of the night. They deserve one night of pure comarader and great entertainment for themselves and their fans. On behalf of Pres. & C.e.o. Lillian Ham and the Tejano Globe advisory board I want to thank you for this interview and we will see everyone Friday October 18, 2013 in Houston, Tx.

hejola report for 04032013

Hejola report for 04032013.
Cchwnn.
Kingsville,tx. Once again from our command post here in Kingsville. TX and I am david duran con this week’s barrio headline news:

Local camera crew catch robber on film,
...
Two vatos arrested for intent to robber store.

Hood member also hit by falling bomb.

Yesterday afternoon el constable cadena and his staff went to the site where Eliseo Everett claimed que as the naval air station pilots were practicing a bomb fell out of the sky and nearly hit him. Everett 53 became a local news celebrity. Mr. Everett, who owes his ex-wife more than $10,000 in overdue child support, had not heard or knew of his whereabouts until his face popped up on almost every TV Station and newspaper. He was arrested this morning at his home.

Larry Garza, 42, was arrested and charged with robbing a barrio Henry’s little convenience store. The report states que the robbery started in one of the back rooms, and the robber thus wasn't aware that a barrio college camera crew from BARRIO UNIT TV was taping a feature on crime in the hood in front of this store. The tape clearly shows esta vato stealing and running through the store and out the front door. He too was caught later at his home.

And finally at a robbery scene in which two young Vato’s in wrestlers masks had held up the only video store in the hood, constable cadena questioned two young guys who were sitting at a nearby bus stop and who by the way had wrestlers masks in their pockets. Estos vats both admitted that they had been on their way to rob the video store but said that when they arrived, two other vatos in ski masks had robbing it. Constable cadena concluded they were telling the truth because their wrestlers masks were different than the actual robbers' ski masks. The constable said these two vatos might not have known that the penalty for "conspiracy to commit robbery" is almost as much as the penalty for robbery.

Well there you have it from the hood, good day. I am David duran.
