exclusive interview con Lisa Mar, 2013

Exclusive interview con Lisa Mar, 2013.

San Antonio, texas. On the road again interviews con Blanca Blanch Blanco. Hello again raza we are on our bicycle headed to san Antonio to meet up con a new tejana superstar Lisa Mar, now let us go to that interview.

Bbb: hello Lisa can you give me a hand off this bicycle?

Lm: Of course Blanca love the boots girl...

BBB; si girl I bought on line for $19.95, tell us dear how did you get into the la onda tejana?

Lm: I was born into it I grew up listening and following some of the greats from tejano music so I like to say now it runs in my blood...

BBB; did you ever dream it would anything like it is now?

Lm: No I did not Blanca... It's definitely a little tougher than I thought it would be but well worth it. The smiles and joy that I see in the crowd every time I perform is amazing. To be able to take them for a second from there busy and stress filled lives just for a moment and have them dancing and smiling is the most rewarding part.... and I hope to keep doing this for a long time to come.

BBB: let’s talk about one of your latest release “ me voy lejos”, tell us about how that came all about and who helped put this production together?

Lm: Well Blanca when I was a little girl I used to sit in the living room and listen to my mom and my uncle David play and sing this song on guitar. I loved this song from the moment I heard it and I sang it ever since. When I got into the studio this is one of the songs I had to do.. Mr Chris Leick and Donato Arredondo did the production.

BBB: now how about the next cd, and details about that?

Lm::This single Me Voy Lejos is off of my new cd coming out called Sabor Tejano I wanted to give the people of little taste of what’s coming...

BBB: I was reading something funny I found on your website, that once your hair got caught up on neck of your guitar player, and than on the base, my god what were you thinking, tell us about that?

Lm; Hahahah... oh my god that's what I was thinking.... I kept singing the show must go on .. so I slowly turned and untangled while singing at the same time.... The funny thing is they were more freaked out than I was. It's nothing compared to when I was at Wal Mart and as I was leaving I had a shirt with a hanger on my hair and didn't even know it....lol

BBB:  dang a shirt hanger on your hair, lol, we noticed that you also are a model, and was on some contest named STREETTALK BEST DRESSED FINALIS,  how did that go?

Lm; OOhh no model your funny .... I didn't win ....boo. .. this is my first time at the awards so It was all new to me...I always got next year..

BBB; you go girl, can you name some of los tejanos musicans  that you have had the opportunity to share a stage with?

Lm; I've actually opened up for Little Joe which was a lot of fun he is such a nice person and I love his music. I also opened up for Jaime y los Chamacos in Michigan.

BBB:  how did you feel being at the 33rnd annual Tejano Awards?

Lm: Oh wow the awards was awesome.. I loved every second of it I felt so honored to walk the red carpet with some of the greats of tejano. It was awesome this was my first time so I wasn't to sure how it all worked but there was some awesome ladies taking pictures telling me what to do and how to work it...hhaha I had a blast and can't wait for next year..

BBB: if you were given the chances to speak with a group of young musicians what encouraging words would you tell them?

Lm: Never stop believing in yourself it's not how many times you fall it's whether you get up again. Keep working towards those dreams and remember nothing worth while comes easy its alot of hard work and sacrifice but dreams do come true

BBB: what is in the future for Lisa Mar?

Lm: Awesome music lots more cd's and hopefully to be able to touch many lives and be a part of the legacy of tejano music

BBB: I am sure you will and finally is there anything you want to share with your fan base from around the world?

Lm: Amor y besos to all my fans around the world I do this for you and for those smiles you share with me... Thank you all for inspire me I hope to be able to give you what you give me everytime I perform...... Inspiration

BBB: well Lisa I want to thank you and you are a very attractive young lady and we here wish you the very best in your music career and in life and can give me a hand back on this bicycle?

LM: Thank you Blanca so much it was fun you be careful there's a lot of crazy drivers out there .. ok 1 2 3 Hay my hair is stuck on the pedals.....

BBB:  1,2,3, watch your hair, well as I pebble down the road we know la onda is only there when we support our young artist, I know that for sure. I am bbb con on the road again interview.

Kingsville, tx. From our command post I am david duran back in town, bill diaz is on vacation. Well
let’s go to our award winning barrio head line news:

Two more arrests con the bombing of el ojo junior barrio private,

Barrio vatos loco volunteer firefighters have recycle can drive all this week.

And finally el constable cadena called into our hood pick... drunk chick.

How many times have we tried not to pick up any chicks at bars especially after the 1:30 a.m. well this is the case con Mike Chavarava. It seems que esta vato took la senorita Julia Childes Moreno home with him after he met her at the bar this past Saturday nite at around 1:30 a.m. He didnit realize que Julia is one of those drunks que likes to talk about the pass regardless if you were involved or not when she gets pretty wasted. Well this was the case que esta chick drank a few more beers at mikes home and felt que she was being taken advantage of her back in September of 2004. By her recalling that awful night lead her to fighting and screaming at esta poor vato mike. Well when the cops showed up con el constable cadena, they realized que it was Julia causing some chit over here at mikes home. No charges were filed against anyone but did ask Julia if she wanted a ride home.

El constable cadena y el ojo barrio private eye in conjunction con el barrio security force 666, made two more arrests this week end in regarding the car bombing and the killing of el ojo junior barrio private and two of his associates. The arrests happen early Saturday morning at the address of Jose M. Mendez garza office of el barrio arms and sales. Jose g. Mendez y Jose g. Mendez III were arrested and taken to jail across the track for booking. The police got a lead this past Friday nite from some drunk chick at some bar talking about the car bombing and who was involved. There will no reward given out due to the fact que the drunk chick didn’t realize que she spilled the beans on someone. This two makes a total of 14 persons were involved in this murder. The whole problem was que they wanted to kill barrio award winner panzon caliente, lead singer of el conjunto panzone caliente y los fojos.

And finally if you are driving around our hood and see our local barrio volunteer vato loco firefighters, please donated those empty recycle cans. It’s the tenth annual easter recycle hunt planned for this coming easter. The volunteers or vato locos volunteers firefights are short about 600lbs cans. And that their investigation will determine that the law enforces agencies were way out of line and someone is going to pay for it. They also wish that Tina V. stay out of sight until this matter is looked into a bit furthermore. hejola report for 10212013

Hejola report for 10212013.

Cchwnn.

Kingsville, Texas. Hello again I am bill Diaz con today’s awfully award winning barrio headline news:

State euthanizes 50 arrested cats over the weekend.

Tina V still missing?

And barrio leaders have bad news for the county, city, and state.

Well we usually start off with some good news but we hate to say this but it’s not good. The barrio leaders are going to do their own investigation on the euthanizing of Tina’s cats and who gave them the right to do so and we also want to know what are the charges against her and her cat’s we want answers? And by the way there is still about 200 people camping out on her front lawn protesting the 200 and so cats that the state has promise to capture sooner or later.

The state officials overseeing the seize at the corner of third and wells by la commadre Tina V. Gonzales last week, authorized the euthanizing of her 50 cats that had been arrested by barrio animal control agents. The killing of these poor cats was done over the weekend without informing anyone. Cruz Tee’s told us this morning at their news conferences.

Furthermore, he told the crowd that a state wide search was on the way for Tina V. Gonzales, as you might recall attacked several animal control workers, than held the hostage, and finally was over taken by some swat teams. And then was hauled off by some 20 or more of her supporters from the mall health center. A reward is being offered for any information leading to her arrested.

We are very saddened by the events that have happen this weekend. We will try to keep you all informed about this matter.

Hejola special report for 10182013.

Cchwnn.

Kingsville, texas. Hello again I am Bill Diaz con a very special report on the saga on third and wells street.

Welcome wagon supporters increase and are warned by police.

An update, La commadre escapes from the health center.

And finally some good news.

After the word was out que the la commadre Tina v. had escaped or mysterious disappeared from the health center,  persons concerning about her welfare increased to about a thousand or some folks have gone to the mall area and are trying to stop the insurgence of law dogs from finding la commadre. We here feel that the local authorizes had taken this situation way out of hand and are really striving lots of trouble in the hood for them says one of the leaders wanting justice for tina. And we hope that were every she is hiding or being secretly held is doing well.

We also reported que la commadre had been taken to the Westinghouse barrio medical center after she had been taser and suffered a cardiac arrest, now mall officials tell us que la commadre had escaped or even better mysterious disappeared from the center earlier this morning by a group of 20 men and women cat lovers. The whole mall area is being surrounded by at least 350 police from different counties and cities searching for tina and the group that helped her escape. The group just overran the 2 police officers who were watching her there at the health center.

The local law dogs have warned the hundreds of folks now helping the barrio welcome wagon in keeping the local animal control workers from removing any more of la commadres 300 and so cats from her property. The number of folks that have made a human chain has increased and now are surrounding the whole home. The cops have already warned them this morning that if they continue with this nonsense that many of them were going to get arrested for blocking public roads, sidewalks and alleys. And furthermore the law dogs said that they were going to get those cats regardless how many are protesting. The group was denied a parade permit for the corner of third and wells, but the group will not be discourage and continue with their effort to protect la commadres loving cats from the outrages animal control workers.

Ok that’s it for now and let’s pray for tina and the 50 cats that have already been arrested.

It seems que barrio creditors have been having problems collecting this pasted few months says Manuel Gonzeles executive chief of “you owe me money now pay up”.  Manuel Gonzalez, told this reporter, si raza many have not made their payments on time and it’s not good for barrio future. The credit costs remain high and are not expected to stay elevated for the foreseeable future in the consumer lending and barrio card services loan portfolios. However gonzales tells us que many of the barrio banks or credit unions are getting closer to the end of loan loss reserves, chinga. It should be a worry to all those that follow our barrio report.

hejola report for 10172013

Hejola report for 10172013.
Cchwnn.
Kingsville,texas. Hello again I am maria la bandia con today’s award winning barrio headline news;
Special agent’s side step barrio constable and raid cat owner home.
La commadre Tina V. Gonzales, cat owner, rushed to Saint paul’s medical center after raid.
And finally some good news.
The barrio welcome wagon has set up shop near the corner of third and wells to... seek donation on keeping the hundred or so cats alive while la commadre Tina V. Gonzales is covering from the brutal attack she suffered yesterday at the hands of them cops from across the tracks. In addition, several friends and family members have made a human chain around her property in order to stop the barrio and state and city and county animal control folks from removing any more of her cats from her property. The folks rallying around la commadre efforts has gotten some state media attendition.
It look like the constable had everything under control with the sage on the corner of third and wells, where la commadre Tina V. Gonzales had taken three animal control unit workers hostages. Until 1 Am this morning, a handful of state and local police swat team raided the home of la commadre, and recued all three animal control workers. No report on how they did it or the status of la commadre Gonzales. More details later.
Mall sources tell us that la Commadre Tina V. Gonzales had been accepted to the health center here in the mall under heavy security. We do have word now that la commadre had been taser several times by the police force when she tried to wrestle down several of the swat team from across the tracks. During all this la commadre was reported of suffering a cardiac arrest and was rushed here to get treated immediately after the so call brawl. More details later.
Well there you have it and lets pray for Tina.

hejola report for 10162013

Hejola report for 10162013.

Cchwnn.

Kingsville, Texas. Now that man from snowy mountain David duran. Hello raza do we have a lot to talk about. Now for our award winning barrio headline news:

The saga continues at the corner of third and wells.

Barrio members not happy on how the constable is handling the standoff.

And finally some good news.

The constable in charge of this drama being held at this moment told us que he was very glad to see that the three hostage were doing great and seem to be in good health. He also stated that la commadre had bar b q some food for the three men and bought some beer also. All and all the situation seems to be reaching an end soon, and hoping que la commadre T will release the workers with no one getting hurt  soon.

This morning 5 barrio animal control unit workers went over to la commadre Tina V. Gonzales again with a new plan. This time la commadre T was not very happy with the idea that they capture some 50 of her cats outside her perimeter, had her own plan. The report says when the barrio animal control unit arrived this morning around 5 a.m. and noticed at least 50 more of them cats outsider the demilitarized zone that la commadre had marked in her back yard. Well at least three of the animal control unit workers tried to chase down some of them cats found them self well within the DMZ zone. Where all of a sudden la commadre appeared from a hidden bunker she had build for such an occasion behind the three animal control workers, managed to capture all the workers by knocking them down with a 10 foot 2x4 and taking them into her second fenced area next to her home. The other two workers made a run for it in an effort not to get caught but managed to contact the constable Cadena. No word on the status of this sage and stand off.

Today at least 35 people have gather at the corner of third and wells protesting the way the barrio animal control unit has handled the cat situation here. It seems that many of the protestors are telling us que there is really no need to be bringing in the local law dogs from across the streets and their swat team to end this terrible siege, in which the constable is considering if la commadre Tina doesn’t release the three hostage she captured a few hours ago.

Ok raza keep up the good work and proud to see that Tejano is not dying but getting better all the time.

Hejola report for 10152013.
Cchwnn.
Kingsville,tx. Hello again I am Bill Diaz, con today’s award winning barrio headline news;
Fifty cats arrested outside compound.
Barrio skydiver dies after jumping off water tower.
And finally some good news:

The barrio community center has announced that it will hold is annual Halloween party at the Westinghouse barrio mall this year compared to last year’s location. The center’s director told us que the mall areas was much larger than the center and would easy hold the 10 senior citizens estimated to attend this year’s Halloween fest. Oh by the way the Halloween fest is for ages between 78 and 98 years old.
Yesterday Juan e. Gomez, a barrio well known skydiver had as many as 10 jumps died yesterday when his home made parachute didn’t open in time and as a result he impacted the ground prematurely. He was already warned that he could not climb and never the less jump off the only barrio water tower. But since we all knew him as a hard headed person, climb the tower without permission. He later died at the saint pauls medical center. The constable will investigate this case.
As you might remember that we reported que la commadre had over 250 cats in her backyard and fought off all five animal control workers, well this morning they came back with a new strategy. They decided since they couldn’t roundup la commadre’s cat in her back yard, they decided to wait outside her yard and waited for them cats to wonder off her property. At this time the city has reported que over 50 cats have already been arrested and waiting for more arrests. We will keep you informed on this matter.
Ok raza have a great day and don’t forget to vote.

Cchwnn.
Kingsville, texas. Hello again I am David Duran with today’s award winning barrio headline news:
Barrio use cars not giving test drives.
Barrio cat lady fined for having too many cats.
And finally some good news.
The barrio and city and county workers spend all weekend putting up all the old 1968 Christmas decorations up again. The barrio leaders were a bit disa...ppointed que the workers didn’t bring the 1958 decorations they had requested instead of the 1968 ones. But the leader of this year’s barrio Christmas spirit told us que she was still going to push for the older ones come next year. The difference is that the older ones were so much prettier. Just for the record, the decorations have been a good deal for the hood; every time they put up those lights it seems that there is less crime in the hood. Many say it’s because they love the holidays and are in good spirit all year round.
This morning the barrio animal control unit went over to la commadre Tina V. Gonzales and arrested her and then released her, when she went on a rampage on all of the animal control unit workers, who were trying to round up all 250 cats, she had in her back yard. After wrestling all 5 workers to the ground she was told to let them men go and they would drop the charges and leave her stinky ass alone. Before the animal control folks left they dropped a ticket in her mail box and made and made a run for it. Oh, by the way la commadre is 6’3” and weights 350 lbs. and is an ex professional barrio wrestler. One of the animal control workers told us que she caught all five workers off guard.
Yesterday it was announced that the five star car lots, which is 5 used car lots dealers found at the Westinghouse barrio area, will stop giving car test drives. Yes in the past we would allow a new customer to drive our new used cars for a test drive. Well it seems that all five used car lots have agreed that unless the customer is real serious about buy the car they will have to purchase $5 dollars of gas for that test drive.
Ok I am David Duran sitting here in my back yard property looking over the beautiful lake, gee have a great Tejano day.

Kingsville, TX. Como estan I am urbano yosabatodo con this week’s barrio stock market report. A barrio consumer and a big spender, it’s only fair to mention that spending that money that should have paid that bill is not good karma. But if you insist of being that way well go ahead. Now for that award winning barrio stock market report.

Los tamales:

El tamale market has come under lots of pressure due to the fact que the city is trying to cut on folks selling tamales on the street.  Our tamale guy has not come that much due to the fact que he might get busted. .  We thinking of hiring a tamale consultant to deal with this market. Los tamale ended the week at the years lowest, $5.50 a dozen. Hey raza buy buy buy.

Los taquitos:

It seems que it will never end. The competition among taco stands took a big fall this month. The evidences still lead us to believe que things are not going well in the hood.  Jobs are down but have shown some increase con todo that is going on at the Westinghouse barrio mall. Los taquitos ended the week at $1.25 each. A small increase from last month but coffee is extra.

Las empanadas:

The local community gardens are also hosting a convention in the hopes que muchos de las empanadas maker will use local produce. In addition las empanada makers from all over south Texas will be attending and las empanada ended the week at $.89 cent each

Las tortillas: We keep on mention that La tortillas will be at $2.00 a dozen in the real never future due to the fact que the price of corn and flour. Las tortillas ended the week at $1.35 a pack of who knows how many.

La barbecue de cabeza:

This past few weeks the producers of chicken, beef, and pork have seen their sales and profits hit hard by an overabundance of llama farms stem up in the hood.  The meat marketplace has had its fears that llama meat will be the new market making beef Baracoa in less demand. La Baracoa de cabeza ended the week at $6.25 a lb. oh llama steaks are going for 2.50 a lb. gee what a meal.

Alcohol consummation report:

Here is a new twist in drinking or consuming alcohol in el barrio. Personal responsibility: It is up to each individual barrio member, not our local or state or even federal government, to make responsible decisions about your drunken ass life. Personal responsibility razes iis the key to a more decent and just barrio and a just society. State, federal, and local employees, too, must be accountable for their actions, just like barrio members that don’t have jobs. And that also includes bar and tavern owners. Cheap beer ended the week at $3.67 a six pack. Be looking for that barrio beer brew. We repeat this because it’s important.

Kingsville, texas. Hello again I am bill diaz con today’s hejolia award winning barrio headline news, this beautiful October day. For some reason or another and increase of marijuana arrests this past few weeks has the whole hood nervous. Many are wondering if this new wave of arrested are based on that “let me put the finger on you committee” vows to get rid of marijuana out of our hood. Oh well we will see.

Now for our awarding winning barrio headline news:

Barrio volunteers firefighters arrested con marijuana after turning fire out.

el compadre soliz storeage busted con weed.

and finally el chuco garza arrested after he flagged constable down for ride.

At noon yesterday el chuco Garza a well know bum in the hood, was arrested by el constable cadena. It seems que garza was standing in the middle of the road and waving and flagged down cars, but did manage to stop el constable and asked for a ride to the house on the hill. El constable cadenas report indicated que appeared unsteady on his feet and a bit nervous. El constable ask mr garza if he was on medication. But mr garza answer no I just smoked pot. It seems que el constable searched mr garza an found a few ounces of marijuana in his coat pockets and a roll of twenty dollar bills totally up to $400. dollars. Mr garza was arrested and if convicted, he could face lots of time in jail.

And finally, Yesterday afternoon los vatos locos volunteers firefighters were the first to arrive at a burning home on third and wells here on our side of the tracks. Once the real fire fighters from across the tracks got there they suspected that something was up because los vatos locos volunteer fire fighters were acting kinda nervous and were seen ferrying buckets of water to the fire themselves. Los locos were hoping que los neighbors wouldn’t call the real firefighters. Once el constable cadena got there and the fire was turned off he found several marijuana plants growing in the basement of the home and inside los vatos 1978 red ford whatever trunk. No one from the home was arrested but three vatos locos were and taken in for questioning.

Hejola report for 10082013.

Cchwnn.

New York, new York.  Hello once again raza I am bill diaz con my twin brother Jonathon Barrios. As we prepare for that long trip back to Kingsville, We are excited about that. Anyhow le’s go con mi brother and see what is the headline news for today:

Thanks pal, I am Jonathon barrio con today’s award winning barrio headline news:

Cat’s  show in the park brings law dogs out,

Increase of illegal aliens,

And hug somebody today .

Yesterday at our office here in NYC we have hug a person day. We went into the city and ask person if they didn’t mind if we gave them a big hug. Out of the ten folks we asked if we could give them a hug, none agreed to it. As a matter of fact five of the ten called the cops on us. Once the police arrived, we asked them if we could hug them and they told us que we must be from texas. We said we were.

In other news, nyc  barrio report was submitted yesterday recording que a 100 % increase on illegal aliens have increased in the past few years. A group called somebody is watching you, told us que they didn’t want us to mention his name ( henry more), and he told us que an increase of aliens had jump real high this past few months. Si, los Marions was the most increased group so far. When asked where and how they were getting here he didn’t want to talk about it.

And finally the first annual cat show we tried to put together in the park turned out to be a mad idea. We didn’t know que the local police were going to bring their police dogs, which made lots of the cats kind of nervous. It took at least three hours for cat owners to round up their  pets and by that time our park permit had expired. Oh well maybe next year.

Ok raza got to go for now, and one last word, I love this city .
