hejola report for 07312015

Hejola report for 07312015.

Cchwnn.

Kingsville, Texas. Hello raza I am urbano yosabatodo con a very exciting extra barrio report just for you and you and you and of you. Now for that award winning barrio report:

Barrio rednecks get arrested for horse meat.

Barrio school shut down for a few minutes.

And finally charges pending on round up Aliens.

Charges are still pending, when el constable arrested several folks dressed like astronauts, rounding up barrio folks that looked like aliens, please note they were not looking for illegal aliens, they were just rounding up anyone or anything that looked alien to them, so with that in mind, this newly barrio Alien lookout committee members were arrested for this odd behavior. It’s not sure what its goals are as of now says el constable but I am sure they will publish their intentions. But as now this folks are going to spend a few hours in jail to think about their intentions. Pesse hejola.

Yesterday el constable con a few police from across the tracks raided la casa del Russell Rufus Redneck, leader of some group called “let me put the finger on you committee” in search of information that involves the new tamale organization backed by this Redneck and his committee partnership. They were looking to see where they were getting their horse meat found inside their homemade tamales. El constable tells me que someone going to spend time due to this ill idea of adding horse meat to this traditional meal, we can understand deer meat or even some pork but horse meat, dang!

And finally ,what seemed like a good idea when they build that new school right next to lalala wonder land ward, but later realized que it really wasn’t, that determination was realized yesterday when a group of lalala patients were seen walking around wearing their white bath robes. Some of the students and school staff called the cops and el constable cadena, thinking que it was the Klan on an attack of the building. The school officials called for a lock down that only lasted 5 minutes when they realized que it was only a few patients had existed the ward without permission and were checking out the school playground.
Ok Raza, have a great day and take that cowboy hat off inside the building.

Ok have a great day raza.

barrio stock market report for 07312015..
Cchwnn.
Kingsville, Tx. Now back from vacation here is Urbano

Yosabatodo. Como estan todos mi amigos. Hejolia did we get

emails from at least one person asking to what happen to our

report last week. Well raza like everything else, I was on vacation.

I took a few days off and went to the lower valley de tejas. But

now I am back and ready for some action Jackson. So now con

el barrio stock market report:

Las tortillas: Las tortillas remained stable this past few weeks. It

seems que more and more raza are making their own tortillas

now a days. Leaving that raza tortilla smell in your whole home.

Which we feel is alright, that’s if you are raza. For some reason

or another everybody wants a clean smelling home, hejolia well

it’s going to be hard, that’s if you making your own tortillas.

Tortillas ended the week at $1.10 a dozen.

Los taquitos: well folks we were surprise this morning when we

ate at la commadres grill. It seems que we didn’t have to pay for

our meal this morning due to que la commadre wanted us to

mention her name on our report. Well raza we do encourage

every single one of you that can read and understand this report

que your local barrio restaurant owners need your business. So

stop eating at those major chain restaurants and bring your

business closer to home. Taquitos going at $1.45 each and in

some cases two for one in larger cities.

Los tamales: los tamales took a drop on price this week. Since

the weather is warming up a bit, many barrio consumers find it

hard to eat those tamales on very warm days. Now is the time to

buy and freeze says Manuel Gonzales a tamale broker. Los

tamales going at $4.50 a dozen.

Las empanadas: for many las empanadas comes in at least three favors, but our sources say que there might be a very very very very small change que the price will go down this week sometime. Barrio consumer groups tell us que they have being asking around and since we do report on las empanadas many dealers are willing to lower the price just for us to get off their case. Las empanadas at stable at .89 cent each with no sign of them going down.

Baracoa de caveza: los city commissioners for both sides of the tracks voted yesterday to study the possibilities off banning the selling of beef heads within the city limits. It’s just too much to monitor now with that mad cow disease going around said city commissioner Ernest roughneck. “Them boys need to use some other part of that cow for their barbeque.” says Mr. roughneck. A private group called let me put the finger on you will do the study. The results should be done in ten years. La Baracoa was still at $5.50 a lb.

Cheap beer: barrio store owners pulled a fast one this past weekend in which the majority agreed to raise the price on cheap beer from $4.65 a six pack to $6.95 a six pack. Barrio consumers are being made aware of this increase. One beer drinker said que now the beer is going up, what could be next?

Barrio want ads:

Item #524126: youth clothing for sale all sizes.
Item #85623: women underwear for sale, all sizes.

Barrio realtors report:
Back yard properties are for sale. Make offer.
Ok raza, there we have it and have a great tejano day.

hejola report for 07302015

hejolia report for 07302015.

Cchwnn.

Kingsville,Texas. Now from our command post down that sunny street with no street lights at night Bill Diaz.... hello or shall I say Heaven-o.. Now for our award winning barrio headline news:

City to continue cracking down on stuff that don't look right in the barrio,

Barrio housing shortage study/petition found in city hall father's closet,

And funeral home makes impact at westinghouse mall...

Our city fathers from across the tracks noticed after the rains que mucho del barrio members belongs got swept across the railroad tracks, making that side of town look like this side of town. What are we to do says one city mother after removing trash and tin cans and other stuff from here front lawn yesterday, by the way who lives across the track, I know she said it’s coming from over there, yes, as she points across the tracks. We need to let them know que their homes and front lawns need to look like ours over here, she cried, not ours looking like theirs. That is why we are proposing que the city pass a law que people lawns and home meet a standard code set by the people living across the tracks. The new proposed law didn’t say which side of town was going to be used as the standard code; we here on this side or they there on that side. Only one major problem, raza, is que el barrio is downhill from the tracks.

now for some other news,CHICANO CABLE HOT WIRED NEWS NETWORK was provided this weekend from an unknown source A BOX LABELED BARRIO HOUSING RESULTS. It seems que ten years ago la raza passed a petition, that lead to a city hearing, that lead to a study, that lead to a steering committee, that lead to a full committee, that lead to the city recommendation, that lead it to be tabled for the next schedule meeting and was never brought up again.....the results indicated the lack of adequate housing and lack of adequate street development and a bigger problem, lack of adequate drainage and sewer lines and drainage .We here plan to follow-up on this matter at a future city meeting, and we plan on asking them to see the results from that study, but are hoping they don't ask to see those results that we have, chinga…

I am more than sure que the city is going to invest a few dollars to do another study on the study that was done . And if they wanted to see the old study, of course it would be impossible due to the fact que we have that study at our office...what a nut shell.....
We will keep you in touch. And hope to present the city father's with the idea of presenting this study as a result of our study we did....in which you and I know que this study is the study they did but will be presented to them as a new study because not too much has changed since this study was done ten years ago......we will keep you informed...on the result of this study....

And finally, the WESTINGHOUSE MALL management gave el barrio some good yesterday morning, it seems que the mall, that's the WESTINGHOSUE MALL will be opening a new business there. La familia Moya, owners of the chain funeral home in our fine barrio, has decided to move their center office to the mall. La familia Moya will continue its fine service it has provided the hood this passed twenty years, with its reasonable rates, instant credit, and long long term payment plan.... Mr. Moya says People are dying to see us.... come on down and see our new location con muchos give a ways and drawing for a free funeral....wow que onda,,,,hejolia.....
Well there you have raza . A little bit of heaven, for all of you..
your business is our business and my business is none of your business".... good day,,,

hejola afternoon report for 07292015

Hejola afternoon report for 07292015.

Cchwnn.

Kingsville, Texas. Hello raza now for our afternoon report

Kids in the hood prepare for school,
Parents refuse to meet new school dress codes,
And teachers and schools employees go year round school.

It was announced today que los barrios schools for all levels will be going all year round. It is about time, was what many of los families in el barrio wanted. At least we know que our kids are getting the education they need. And the attention they have needed for years. It just seems que our kids weren’t getting the education says la mother of eight kids. Heck I need help in caring for this kids and the school is one source to keep an eye on them for most of the day. At least it allows me to find a job and a career. A teacher and a parent and a student conference will be held sometime in the future to review the new school plans.

A riot almost started yesterday in front of many of the schools in the hood when at least half of the kids in the hood were sent home for not meeting the new school dress code. It seems que this year the schools are making it mandatory that all student need to wear the new school uniforms. The grey and light blue uniforms have not been made available at our local barrio stores. And since many of the barrio members hate to drive across the tracks to large stores, and the WESTINGHOUSE BARRIO MALL has not opened it back to school store have made it impossible for parents to purchase the uniforms.

The school administrators have extended and waived the school uniforms policy till Sept. 20 of this year. At that time there will be no excuse for not having a uniform and students will be send home if they do not comply with the dress code.

Barrio leaders will meet at our barrio community center to survey the hood and see which families will be unable to purchase the uniforms. It was reported que each uniform cost around $45.00 each. Shoot we will be real lucky to see how many families will be able to purchase these uniforms, said a uniformed sourced. We are trying to have a fund raiser to see if we can purchase some uniforms for those children that their parents can’t purchase the required uniform. There should be no child left behind just because he or she doesn’t have a uniform, says a barrio parent.
And finally all the kids in the hood will be back in school sometime this month. This year’s our barrio’s attendances goal is to have at least 85% of the barrio kids in school. Compared to pass years el barrio has struggled in making all kids to attend school. This year parents will be called on for their support in making sure que when the parent goes to work the kid goes to school. No ann.’s or its, butt’s, that is the law.

So raza if you are driving in a school zone make sure que you drive slow and respect those adult-cross-the- street-guards helper’s con mucho authorize con su whistle.

Well there you have it; I am Urbano Yosabatodo, good day...

#31 CHICANA

MARIA LA VANDIA IS NOT A REAL PERSON, BUT THE POEMS REPRESENT MANY OF US. THROUGH THE STRUGGLES AND MISUNDERSTANDING THAT MANY OF US HAVE IN LIFE, WE ALWAYS SEEM TO MAKE IT HAPPEN.

·# 31 CHICANA

WE HAVE TRADITIONALLY INSPIRED THE PARTICIPATION OF AGGRESSIVE CHICANA WOMEN IN OUR STRUGGLE FOR FREEDOM AND JUSTICE FOR ALL CHICANOS.

WE WORK UNDER A LEGAL SYSTEM AND AN EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM THAT IS IN THEORY A PROTECTER OF YOUR RIGHTS?

“LA CHICANA” HAS ENJOYED FULL PARTICIPATION IN ALL ASPECTS IN FORMING “ LA RAZA MOVEMENT “.

THEY HAVE BEEN IN ALL AREAS OF OUR AMERICAN SYSTEM.
WHETHER IT BE SOCIAL, POLITICAL, AND HAS EVEN SHOWN HER MILITANT WAYS,”TU SADES” YOU HAVE BEEN THERE AND YOU’VE SEEN HER!

SO DOES SHE RECOGNIZE PAST AND PRESENT WOMAN MOVEMENT MODELS,
WHICH HAVE FACED PROBLEMS ANY OTHER WOMAN MOVEMENT WOULD?

SO BE INTELLIGENTLY AWARE OF THEIR MOTIVES, MY BROWN EYED SISTER. BECAUSE “LAS GRINGA” MOVEMENT AND IT’S
RE-ACTIONS ARE DESIGNED TO THEIR OWN GRINGA RHETORIC AND GRINGA MOODS, NOT YOURS MY BROWN EYED SISTER!

REMEMBER “MI SISTER QUE LA RAZA UNIDA” WILL ALWAYS WRESTLE THE POWERS. AND WILL LOBBY FOR AN EQUAL BASIS, AND CHICANOS WILL DIRECT THEIR OWN DESTINY WITH YOUR WILL POWER, SOCIAL POWER, POLITICAL POWER, AND EVEN YOUR MILITANT WAYS, ”TU SABES” YOU HAVE BEEN THERE AND YOU’VE SEEN HER!

howdy hejola afternoon report for 07282015

Howdy hejola afternoon report for 07282015.

Cchwnn.

Kingsville,TX, hello partner how are we doing today, I am Country Pancho, with today’s afternoon barrio award winning headline news:

2014 crime was up in the hood.

An increase of persons separated or divorcees for 2014,

And finally, an decrease of deaths in the hood 2015.

It seems que 2014 was a prime example that many young people

are willing to move for a better way of living, based on a study

done by our own Maria la vandia. More than 10 percent of the

residents aging from 17 to 23 moved this past year to a better

hood or town the study indicated. The study also indicated que 22

percent of the la Raza aging from 24 to 46 moved more than 100

miles from the hood and only 10 percent came back this year.

And finally the study indicated que 100 percent of the persons

interviewed were willing to move but didn’t have the resources or

a car to get to that new location. Barrio leaders will hold a special

meeting to review this study and develop ways to keep people in the hood.

In other news, what does tiger woods, and other famous people

have in common con our la Raza? They love to mess around. In

many cases this extra martial activities lead up to either getting

separated or divorce. Well that was the case in the hood

this pasted 2014. There was a 52 percent increase of

separations and a 23 percent increase of divorces this past year

in the hood, making 2014 a year not to forget. But there was a

good foot note to this matter. At least 10 percent of both got back

together during Christmas time.

And finally the worse category was the increase of death in the

hood. Many of these deaths were accidents and a few killed but

there was a large increase of death pets based on that report que

Maria la vandia did. Si Raza more and more Raza are doing

something to their poor little cats and dogs and birds and snakes

and chickens and turkeys and ducks and a few who knows what.

This was weird says el constable Cadena, who help put the

information together. Si, Raza, for some reason or another people

just take their frustration out on those little critters. El constable

told us que this year he will have to improve this area of security.

Ok Raza there you have it, and if you do have a little critter at

Home, don’t blame it for someone leaving your butt... have you

Hugged your pet today?

exclusvie interview con sarah ruiz chavez#2

Exclusive interview con Sarah Ruiz Chavez, 2015.
Cchwnn, session #2.
Olathe, Kansas. Hello raza, I am Blanca Blanch Blanco con on the road again interview. Today my poor little legs pumped my new bicycle all the way to Olathe to meet up with not just a special person, but a cousin and a brilliant person in her own way Sarah Ruiz Chavez and now for that interview.
Session #2,
BBB: I am sure you realized that there was a need for much bigger coverage at that time, what was your next endeavor after that project?
Src: The progression that brought the Tejano Music National Convention into existence was because my business partner and husband, David Chavez had worked in Latino advocacy for years. David was producing huge concerts, conventions and television specials but his personal passion in music was always Tejano. He grew up listening to the great pioneers of the industry and starting doing dances very early while in college to raise scholarship money.
We spent years talking about doing an event on a large national scale focused only on Tejano music. We finally decided with our experience and resources that maybe if we put together a “little shindig” their might be an interest. The final push came from artist, Chente Barrera, who kept nudging us to do something. We finally decided to try with the understanding if it failed at least we could live with the fact that we tried. That was twelve years ago in 2004.
We still are amazed that eager Tejano fans from across the country make the annual pilgrimage to Las Vegas to indulge in nonstop Tejano and Conjunto Tex-Mex Funk! We even named it the 48-Hour Tejano Music Marathon. It’s a privilege to be part of such a vibrant cultural preservation of a true American-made musical genre.
BBB: would you say you hit the big times at one point or was there much more needed to keep Tejano alive for the future at that time?
Src: I must say emphatically that we have not hit big times or consider ourselves reaching a pinnacle. We are simply shining a spotlight and providing a national platform for the talented artists and our fellow Tejano fans. David and I are Tejano fans first. We do this so we can dance too - just like the thousands, of much better dancers than us, that spend the entire weekend on the dance floor. It’s a sight to behold.
BBB: my god, now tell us about Tejano Music National Conventions and the excellent coverage you have done for Tejano music and it’s Tejano Artist?
Src: The Tejano and Conjunto artists are brilliant, animated, exceptional story-tellers and above all, they entertain and make people feel alive. The talent that graces our three stages performs with the same caliber of musical prowess and technical skill as any artist of any other genre of music.
We feature two showcase stages called "Shelly’s All American Showcase" hosted by Shelly Lares and "Boni’s Conjunto Café" hosted by Boni Mauricio. Because my father played in local bands I have a strong affection for the local “up-and-coming” bands out there that just need a break. We not only provide these bands with a national platform but we also select one band from the Tejano Experience USA Fanfare & Expo to open up for the following year on the MainStage. They are selected based on their performance, fan reaction, showmanship and musical quality overall.
BBB: at this point, how does it feel to be Sarah Ruiz Chavez and the things you have accomplished?
Src: I feel like we are just barely getting started. There is so much more to do, to learn, to develop, to aspire towards, to appreciate and to advocate for. We view ourselves and our generation as the New American Mainstream - our beautiful, mixed and diverse communities are indeed the driving force for business success today and for the future.

Session 3.
BBB: besides being involved with the Tejano market, tells a bit about other careers you have had, such as working for Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute?
Src: We are in transition going from LatinPointe Brands, LLC to the now INGEÑUITY. We have spent over a decade developing a marketing and branding company that produces concerts, conventions, television specials and signature events. We specialize in building, connecting, and creating high-profile brands in the Hispanic marketplace.
I’ve been told I should write a book because of all the lives I’ve lived because of the variety of careers and positions I have held over the years. Some of which you will immediately know who my inspirations were. I will name just a couple to keep this short. I’m a certified automotive technician, was the editor-in-chief of a Latino lifestyle monthly magazine, owned a very successful home daycare business and now executive producer of the largest Latin music national convention in the United States.
BBB: I see you are married? How long and to whom?
Src: David and I celebrated our anniversary last week - July 20, 2002. Ironically we were married during an NCLR Conference. David was working for the National Council of La Raza at the time. David's mentor and boss, an extraordinary national leader and civil rights pioneer, Raul Yzaguirre, was at our wedding on South Beach in Miami along with friends and family. It was an amazing day that I will never forget. It truly set the tone for our life together.
BBB: do you think your marriage help you and your spouse in working together as a team and actually get things done?
Src: David is an exceptional partner in life and in business. Our journey together has been a crazy roller-coaster ride of taking risks and immense gratification. We are constantly striving for bigger and better business projects that elevate Latinos. We are driven to spotlight the achievement in our communities that people still don’t know about. Because we share this same dream it makes it easy to work together. I am blessed to have my best friend beside me.
BBB: do you believe in ufo’s?
Src: Are you sure you want to disclose the family secret oracle of UFO ’ s - OK - here is the truth. UFOs are the golden rules by a wise member of the Ruiz family - Uncle Fito. His opinions are revolutionary and are mind bending - you can go to the bank on his words, hence, Uncle Fito’s Opinions or “UFOs” as we, of the Ruiz tribe, call them. Yes, I’m a believer.
BBB: oh yes el tio Fito, being part of your family, we come from a large background of musicians, can you tells a little bit about that?
Src: We hail from a very creative and lively bunch that have proved to be resourceful, resilient and entrepreneurial over generations. My summer memories are of Yoakum Street - late nights outside laughing and talking and of course, making music. Music was a bonding agent that attracted more relatives the later it got - even some that just wanted to claim they were related.
I loved bragging about my giant crazy Ruiz family because we were unconventional. We were impulsive. I was definitely not in Kansas anymore.
BBB: if you were given a chance to speak to a group of young people choosing a career, what encouraging words would you use?
I love this question because it doesn’t cost anything! It’s something I wish I had been told decades ago and it’s so easy. Simply “follow your gut instincts.” If we just tune into our initial impulse when making decisions of any size and use it as a guiding force, we’d all save ourselves a lot of time, money and regrets. Become a voracious reader and seeker of knowledge. Devour information from books, magazines, blogs, news outlets, twitter posts, etc. It’s free! And lastly - surround yourself with people who are positive, lead a balanced life, ambitious and ethical.
BBB: and finally Sarah what would you like to share and tell your fans from around the world?
Src: …ummmm - fans? I can’t imagine having any fans but I will answer the question for you my Blanca. Life is short - appreciate those around you, speak truth from your heart, smile every day, respect your elders and drink plenty of water.
BBB: well Sarah after many years of trying to get your attention we finally did and thank you for this few hours of your time to help do this interview. Now can we go get a bit to eat before I travel back to Kingsville,Texas. Oh by the can you give me a hand back on my bicycle?
Src: I can do better than just give you a hand back on a bicycle. My private jet will fly you and your bike back to Kingsville. I hope you don’t mind but I’ve arranged a party to keep you entertained. There is also a movie theater on the plane so you can watch the Wizard of Oz in HD surround sound! What are cousins for! – right, Blanca? Enjoy!
BBB: well there you have a clear understanding that dreams and hard work do pay off, and make things happen. I am BBB con on the road again, good day.
