SC:  so what’s up con your new music video “si Tu Quieres” and how long did it take to produce?

Ag; Well the new video you mentions NO DEBES JUGAR is doing great, We released it this year Jan of 2013 its on youtube you can find it by going to Angel y Vimana No debes jugar, or type in 01angelmusic and it will bring up all my videos of songs but NO DEBES JUGAR is our first official Music Video for ANGEL Y VIMANA we used Power house media and Top flight Productions for this music Video, its took about 3-4 days to think of the ideas on the story line of the song I wrote and finding the right people to play the parts, the songs is really a pretty song it’s a love song about a guy me lol liking this girl who is my friend and I’m so sad because im always seeing her get treated bad from her x boyfriend and I start liking her and try to tell her I can treat her better but she decides to go back to the xboyfriend you have to see the Video and see how it ends lol I know I cut the story off in the middle but you can see it and tell me what you think lol all in all it took 1 day too shoot the full video and a few days after for the editing J, now we are about to start working on our second Video SI TU QUIERES hopefully here in April of 2013 and we want to invite everyone to be in it will be posting updates on Facebook about it and on our WEB PAGE www.Angelyvimana.com but this song is really fun and makes you just want to dance you can also hear it on our web page if you have never heard itJ

Sc; what would you prefer to work in the studio or do more live performances?

Ag: Let’s see what would I prefer to work in the studio or live performance I love doing both I love recording in the studio but my passion is also performing in front of the people to see them while im on stage and see them happy make me happy to know that maybe one of my songs they were touched by it or could relate to what I was going through when I wrote the song and getting to meet the fans and supporters at the shows means a lot to me to get to meet them take pictures and hopefully making the day specialJ

SC: what’s on the agenda for 2013 for Angel Gonzalez?

Ag; My Agenda for this year is March 1st I’ll be opening at Republic Live in Austin Texas for Lil Suzy and then march 2nd Same thing but in San Antonio texas then we are doing the Spot lite T.v show based in Austin Texas on channel 16 Austin access from 7-8pm doing Interview on March 5th, then on March 10th We will be performing on DOMINGO LIVE in Corpus Christi Selena home tome I’m really excited about that then we look forward to doing Tejano fan fair March 16th and 17th in San Antonio texas if you go to my face book or web page you can see all the details for times and locations then April music Video this year we are looking for to all the Cinco de mayo festivals hopefully to be apart of like last year and also the Tejano music Awards and the Tejano y mas, T.v show will have for sure date posted on my face book page J so many things this years but again we are very thankful to everyone’s support.

SC: how many times have you been to fan fare and is it worth your time?

Ag: This is going to be our second time performing at Fan fair on the Main stage and it was very worth the time and hard work San Antonio welcomed us with open Arms Thank you to everyone from TTMAsJ J

SC: do you believe in vampires or ufo’s?

Ag: Do I believe in vampires or Ufos :ummmmmmm UFOS J

Sc; how difficult is it to travel now a day’s con the economic the way it is ( gas, meals, lodging)?

Ag: Was it hard finding a recording Company to sign us,,, well to be honest we have been approached by a few record labels but currently we are staying independent until we find the Right record label that we know will be a long working relationship J

SC; was it hard finding a recording company to sign you guys?

Ag; Your question is how hard Is it Economically for gas and expenses the answer to that is it Hard when you don’t have a Label paying for the expenses and promotions and studio and ext… but its not impossible to do it with out a record label and yes Its hard but when you enjoy what you are doing and you have passion for it you learn to appreciate the little the you gain from it so much more and it helps your remember to stay humble and down to earth with everything and everyone If I could trade it all in for the easy road I wouldn’t I like the fact that its hard times only because when we reach our goals its something that means so much and you remember it wasn’t just you or your band that got you to reach your goal it was everyone one the listeners then fans , the supporters the Dj’s, the stations T.v Ext J

Sc; do you prefer to play cumbias or more Tejano style music como polkas and so on?

Ag; Do I prefer Cumbias or Tejano music Both lol I love singing both and when I write my music I try to add the styles of the two in a song J but I love the cumbias I love to see the people happy and dancing but when I want to reach the hearts of the listeners I take the tejano style and slow the cumbia down and make it into my own. J

SC; if you had the chance to speak with a group of young people what would you tell them about the music business?

Ag; If I had the chance to speak out to the younger generation and kids id tell them to stay in school its very important and to treat one another with respect and kindness and to not allow bulling in schools, id also let them know to say no to drugs and to follow there dreams in life Because anything is possible whether they want to be a police officer or a singer or the next president anything is possible if you work hard at it. Advice in the music business I would tell them to play were ever they give them a chance to play and sing at good practice is a must even if its at karaoke places if you’re a shy person you wont be shy for long lol, but honestly to always remember when there performing to always treat that performance whether it’s a big crowd or a small crowd to treat it like it’s a crowd of thousands of people but most of all to have fun while they do itJ . also to do there homework on when they right music to register it and copy right it and to never be scared to ask for help because the artist that are more experienced have so much knowledge to learn from and experiences they have gone through that can help.

SC; has there ever been a time you wish you hadn’t taken a gig?

Ag: Has there ever been a time I wish I had never taken the Gig,,, NO I haven’t had a bad experience yet but I’m hoping that if I do ever have one I learn from it LOL J

Sc; and finally sir what would you like to share with your  fans from around the world?

Ag; Id like to tell all the fans friend family that have been showing Angel y Vimana support thank you so much for your continuing support and we hope to see you all soon at a city near you please request me on face book I reply to every one and always enjoy getting to know you all J for more info on the Band go to our web page www.angelyvimana.com, we love everyone out there showing support un saludos para todos en mexico and please remember Angel y vimana our here you the people J love you all see you real soon. hejola report for 02262013

Hejola report for 02262013.

Cchwnn.

Kingsville, TX. Hello I am David Duran con today’s award winning barrio headline news:

Barrio women rally for equal bar time.

More dogs and cats missing.

And finally some good news.

Our news network just got word that we are preparing to go on line with our radio program thanks to certain on line radio programs already that have asked us to be a newscaster. Our creator, Daniel, as we speak is seeking your help in getting the computer and soft ware needed in order to put this station a reality. “Chicano cable hot wired news network” coming sooner than what you think.

El constable posted a 918 alert throughout the hood because there were at least 27 dogs and 32 cats missing within the last ten hours.  The constable told us off the record que it could be those hillbillies that just moved into the hood, but there was no proof of them boys stealing, killing or even kidnapping them poor little pets. Oh by the way them boys opened up a Chinese restaurant, named “chon hill boy”.

And finally, yesterday the gang called “la girls Del hood”, an organization made up of divorces women rally for more equal time at bars. The groups wanted to let people know que even though we don’t have a job, and are not looking for one, we do have time to go bar hoping. Please note that in order to be a member a woman can’t have children or have children under the age of 32. You see, says one of the girls, that’s what this club is all about, we want women to have a good time without having to leave a bar too early because they have children at home. Another member told us que this thing about job hunting is not going to happen, we expect them jobs come looking for us. (Good luck).

Ok raza the word for today is good luck.

Hejola report for 02252013.

Cchwnn.

Kingsville, tx hello raza como estan, I am Bill Diaz con today’s award winning barrio headline news:

Barrio home interior busted.

How to keep your mother in law in check author arrested.

And finally some good news.

Ten little monkeys were rescued yesterday from 32 dogs and 15 cats that were chasing them in the hood. El constable and about 20 brave volunteers were able to catch the majority of them monkeys and were able to fight off some of the homeless dogs. The city  and barrio leaders will discuss this matter at the next city meeting schedule for March 2033.

La commadre Nancy Alaniz was arrested yesterday afternoon when she was displaying her brand new book named “ How to keep your mother in law in check”. One of the ways as explained in her book was to slap the chit of your mother in lawn next time she got out of hand. Well that didn’t go very well with certain mother in laws that confronted Nancy at the mall. In one case Nancy actually slapped a so call mother in law to demonstrate que it don’t take long for your in law to snap and keep her in check. Charges will be filed against her.

And finally,Yesterday el senor Henry Gomez was arrested as he acted out his own home interior program and had nothing to do with the real so call company. Gomez had been giving his barrio home interior displays in home that folks believe que he was on the up and up. But reality skunk in real quick when those families that had hosted his program were robbed when he went to their family bathroom. He managed to roam around folk home taking whatever he could hind in his pants. Charges will be filed against esta vato.

Ok raza be cool and stay warm.

exclusive interview con cystal garcia, 2013

Exclusive interview con Crystal Garcia, 2013.
cchwnn.
Pasadena, Texas. Hello again I am Blanca blanch Blanco con on the road again interview. This week our creator sends us to somewhere around Houston to interview a very young Tejano artist, Crystal Garcia. Now for that interview.
Bbb; hello my dear can you give me a hand of this bicycle?
Cg: of course!

BBB: ok Crystal tells us about how you got into la onda TEJANA?

Cg; I basically started off alone in a little community program after school with some friends in march of 2010. We played nothing but Tejano music. By summer of 2011 I was joined by my brother and sister on accordion and drums. Joining us as well was our neighbor Isaiah Tellez on bass and also accordion. We were nothing but Puro Conjunto by the time. We started off at benefits. Alot of benefits! Then slowly we amounted to where we are at now.

BBB: how difficult was it to get a group together and the name of the band you play with?
Cg; it was difficult to keep my first group together because we were all of different families and cultures. Their parents didn't support them in music it the fact we had to stay out till three in the morning sometimes.
That's how the original Crystal N Crew died. But with the support of my parents and Isaiha's parents we got a solid band started right away. As far as our name. In the original Crystal N Crew it was a chAllenge. The simple fact that some couldn't stand the idea of my name being the band name. Crystal N crews name was invented by my former bass player Javier Medina. It's has stuck with us forever.

BBB: being so young, does this take much of your time from getting an education?
Cg; in my life education comes first. I'm pretty good at managing my time with school and music. I'm actually a pretty hardcore need when you come down to the real Crystal. All Advanced placement classes and 23 credits by the time I became a junior and a GPA of 4.0. Gotta love school!

BBB: do you travel a lot?
Cg; I travel very little actually. I've been all over Pasadena and Houston but farther than that it's been a few. We are only now starting bookings in Austin and San Antonio and other surrounding Areas.

BBB: how difficult was it to get a recording contract?
Cg: it wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be. All I did was be nice and make friends. Then I found out I live one minute from Fuerte Studios! We took a Lil trip over. Talked some business and Just yesterday I finished recording my first CD. So watchout for the first album. "llegaste tu"

BBB; do believe in vampires or UFO’s?
Cg; I believe in UFOs!

Bbb; from all the performances you, which still stand out in your heart /
Cg; the performance that stands out in my heart the most is the rancho alegre Conjunto festival earlier this month! One of the best performances I have had in my career! the dance floor filled during the entire set. I couldn't believe it. It was my first time in the city of Austin and I will never forget how welcomed and loved everyone made me feel .

Bbb; what do your parents think about all this attention you are getting?
Cg: my parents couldn't be any prouder of me than they are now. They fill with pride at the thought of my impact on the Conjunto world. My mom is the most amazed when I post something on Facebook I usually get 30+ likes. Of course they are very cautious but hey, they are only looking out for me.

BBB: how many instruments do you know how to play?
Cg; I know how to play four instruments. Guitar, Bajo Quinto, bass, and violin.

BBB; what do you think the status of la onda TEJANA nationwide is? ( for example getting better, very limited, etc)
Cg; the status of la onda tejana is definitely getting better, I actually hear people listen to Tejano and Conjunto more often in school now, that's a miracle! On radio stations I notice there is Tejano music being played again. More and more bands are coming out and to this day Tejano and Conjunto events are always filled with people who love it!

BBB: does it come easier in learning new material that you write or harder in learning someone else’s songs?

cg;It's equal to me, all you need is a little originality and creativity and you got this!

Bbb: if you had the chance to speak with a group of young people wanting to get into la onda TEJANA, what would you tell them?
Cg; I would say. Be determined, and ready for criticism, especially if you are a girl. Don't you ever give up!

BBB: and finally, what would you like to tell your fan base from around the world?
Cg; I love you! Thank you for not giving up on me! And I will not disappoint you! Puro Conjunto baby!

BBB: well dear I want to thank you for this interview and will you give me a hand on this bicycle, and why don’t you follow me and lets go to Houston and go ice skating?
CG; let's go!

barrio stock market report for 02222013

Barrio stock market report for 02222013.

Cchwnn.

Kingsville,tx. Como estan I am urbano yosabatodo con esta stimulus barrio stock market report. Doesn’t It seems que the new trend is just plain stimulus? Yea that’s the ticket. Everywhere we go its stimulus this and stimulus that. Our society has taken the word stimulus and applied to almost everything possible. Shoot, even those sex enhancement pins have a little stimulus to them. But for now, let’s just try to stimuluate the economic and leave our sex life out of it.

Now for that award winning report:

In the world of buying and selling barrio stock is nothing new to many of us, switching to a new market doesn't mean that they are doing the research that we do. So we don’t expect you to change or change any of your barrio stock market habits. Just hang with us. Ok.

Los tamales, if there is any way to beat el tamale market for this coming xmas season we insist that you buy now. Most tamale brokers are selling their stock at a real low rate this month but preparing to launch an interest on price before you know it. If you can, scoop up as much as you measurably can, all this will guarantee a whole lot of tamales for this xmas season. Oh by the way the tamale guy never came back. Los tamales ended the week at $5.50 a dozen a dollar down from last week.

Las tortillas: With the increase of wheat and gain this market has suffered a bit this month. Since the start of this quarter las tortillas have gotten much better. In terms of not too many found stuck together like several year ago. Who says nobody reads our barrio stock market. The tortilla war of 2005 really made a differences with this market. Las tortillas ended the week at $1.55 a pack.

Los taquitos up ten cents from last week, ended the week at $1.35 each and  coffee is extra. But we found a place here in Kingsville got them going for 2 taquitos for $1.75.

la barbacoa de caberas remained stable, ended the week at $6.50 a lb.

Barrio want ads:

Now for the barrio realtor report:

El primo Mendez tells us que the city is getting ready to knock down a bunch of crack houses, the owners tell us que they would like to know if anyone is interested in pick up the remains of this houses for free. Let us know no charge but there is a transportation tax in our hood.

Thank you mi raza, tejanos, TEXmex, chicano, latinos y bill collectors, First of all I would like to accept this non monetary prize in behave of all my staff and myself for the long selfish hours we spend working on trying to uncover some deeper truths about life and about ourselves .

In our studies we try to study life stories of our la raza as well as our experience as la raza and what we go through life. Did you know que we have realized que there are more interesting truths to be revealed than to be found in el barrio in it as in ourselves.

We here at Chicano Cable hot wired News Network believe in the deconstructionism of our English language, as long as you clean up after you’re done. And we do not believe that masterpieces do exist, nor do we want them to. We prefer the glory of brilliant mistakes, Because without mistakes one will never really learn the englisss language. And thanks to the internet we have been able to accomplish this.

I am chicano and I can speak and spell englisss any way I want to, mi entiendes  mendez, Thank you and god be with you .

Daniel lopez creator .

But the down side of this study says Earl West, the county extension agent, is the getting a higher education or something better than a high certificate many are, but are they serious enough to follow thru their plans. He went further in stating que many might just be doing it for the fiscal aid they get, the new welfare system. Many in the crowd were very disappoint with his remarks. Just for the record, our reporter found out que esta way West  took 9 years to that degree and was lend more than $100,000 in student loans that he defaulted on. Now you tell us who using the system. More details on this matter later.

Ten and maybe eleven gay Tejano’s, (well claim to be tejano’s) picketed the city court house, which is located across the tracks when they found out que the only Tejano gay bar on our side of the tracks was begin force to have separate bathrooms for men and women and who know’s.,or shut down. The owner Maria Gomez told us que the hearing for her case was going to be held this coming June, 2033.

And finally, Yesterday a small court in the hood determine que they were willing to be sued by the cat woman in the hood when she was order to not have, accept, or bring cats home. Kingsville, TX. Hello raza I am Gloria Guerra con today’s award winning barrio headline news:

Barrio tensions high about tamales.

Several barrio members win awards.

And some good news about Valentine’s Day.

I am sure you didn’t know que the most people get divorces during this period. And did you know que men get beat up more than women during this time. And did you que a man would almost do anything to keep their partner happy, and did you know que some partners will spend money they don’t have just to make you happy. And did you know que the light bill wasn’t paid because I bought you that kinky valentine’s outfit que you wanted and I ended up wear it. Now wasn’t that fun.

Ten barrio men and two barrio women were winners of this year’s recycle contest. The idea was to see which barrio member could donate more recycle cans for this year’s barrio recycle Easter hunt. This is where barrio youths learn about recycling and keeping the hood clean. The barrio leaders decided sometime ago to ban stuff Easter eggs shells con confetti and instead decided to hind recycle cans. “It’s the mess that darn confetti leaves”, says one winner. That is why we helped this good cause.

Yesterday was another day off unrest when several barrio members tried to crash the new tamale organization office. Three to four persons were arrested along con ten cats, twenty dogs, and few other pets we couldn’t describe. The constable says que it’s a matter of principal and la raza have a right to decide about the future of tamales in the hood and around the nation.

Ok love birds have a great day.

Kingsville,tx. Hello raza como estan, I am Bill Diaz con our barrio award winning headline news:

Tamale brokers arrested.

No stopping the barrio violence.

And finally some good news.

We all want some good news once in awhile so we found some just a few minutes ago.  Now for the rest of the stories.

Yesterday evening for some reason or another a fight broke out at the only Tejano gay bar. The constable to us que it was very unusually the boyz and girls really ever fight. Now they might yell, scream, and push a bit but to get into an all out brawl is very unusual. The constable had to arrest la suzie aka Mario Munoz, y la perri aka Ben Morales, both of them were arrested and taking to jail.

Yesterday afternoon several tamale brokers were arrested as they made their way up to the front of the room where a press conference discussing the new tamale organization was going on. In their efforts to disrupt the conferences they threw tamales, tortillas, and few American sandals at the folks sitting on the stage. El constable had to arrest Manuel Gonzales, Juan Gonzales, Pedro Gonzales, Johnnie Gonzales and Lulu Gonzales all brokers for the Gonzales Tamales and Tortillas franchise. Charge will be filed.

Ok raza its ash Wednesday and not to be confessed with big ass Wendy. Have a great Tejano day.

hejola report for 02122013

Hejola report for 02122013.

Cchwnn.

Kingsville,tx. Hello raza I am general fideo vermicelli con today’s award winning barrio headline news. It seems like old days don’t it. Remember the tamale war of 1998, well its back and now for our award winning barrio headline news:

City leaders approve another tamale organization.

Tamale brokers upset with city leaders.

And finally some good news for tamale lovers.

Yesterday Russell Rufus Redneck a member of the city leaders recommended that the city allow another tamale organization into the area. He pointed out that this tamale group would be more progressive and a much better product for all in the city, the hood, the county and our statewide effort to keep tamales a key element in our markets.

Now that the word is out that there is a new tamale company in town, should be   a step forward in making tamales a nation meal. Many don’t realize que los tamales don’t get respect and have been removed from lots of major menu’s in many areas. There is always room for improvement says a member del barrio  and many should not worry about this organization, but embrace its within it and see what it has to offer,If anything.

Tamale brokers will be having their monthly meeting to discuss this new progressive organization that the city leaders have allowed start up here. The tamale brokers major concern was three basic things: who’s in charge, what is their goal and finally why another tamale organization when there are a ton of them out there.

Ok raza, how many tamales to a dozen? Have a great day.

Kingsville,tx. Hello again raza como estan, I am Bill Diaz con today’s award winning barrio headline news:
Talking Parrot returned to pet shop, talks a lot chit.
Complaint states que Barrio nursing home acting as a prostitution institution.
And finally seniors line up for tax purposes.

Our own barrio community center is at it again, by entertaining “Claim a se...nior day” this coming weekend. If you didn’t already know que every year the center invites the public to come by and check out a senior citizen for the weekend. Now what are the benefits? Besides doing a good deed it also allows you to claim them on your irs tax form for 2012. So if you haven’t filed your income tax and looking for that special deduction, come on by and check out a senior. It just could save you chingos.
Yesterday el constable cadena and some of his staff were called to “el barrio pet shop” where it seemed que a fight broke out among the owner of the shop and a customer. It seems that the customer had bought a talking parrot and he seemed to be a well matter bird there at the shop, but when the parrot got to his new home, that was a whole different bird. The customer told this reporter que this parrot talked a lot chit and said just too many bad words. Once the customer took the parrot back for a refund the owner showed the customer a sign that said “no refunds on sales, especially the talking parrot”. That’s went the customer slapped the shop owner. The constable took the parrot in for questioning. It seems like the parrot was the only witness. No arrest so far.

And finally seems que el constable cadena and his barrio task force 666, were at the “El Centro for old folks” again after a few complaints from its residents que lots of regularly schedule visits were sex workers. The barrio nursing home has been in trouble before but for other questionable activities, like nude volleyball and nude checkers. El constable is trying to track the caller’s that made the complaints. The constable will set up a special room there at the home to interview the questionable sex workers for move evidence. Oh by the way there was no evidence que a special yellow sock was being place on the door for privacy, it was green.
Ok raza have a great Tejano day.

exclusive interview con Tejano sound band, lupe moreno, 2013

Exclusive interview con Tejano Sound Band, Lupe Moreno, 2013.

Cchwnn.

Lansing, Michigan. Hellloooo raza  its me con chingo freezing weather all around me. I am Blanca Blanch Blanco con on the road again interview. This has to be the coldest place we have traveled this past few years up here in ing. But we are here and warmed up con Lupe Moreno member of Tejano Sound Band, and now for that interview.

Bbb: ( frozen face, frozen hands, and frozen all over) hello Lupe can you give me a warm hand off this bicyclllle it’s a bit cold out here?

Lm; Well sure, i have an extra pair of mittens, lol.

BBB; ok guys Tejano Sound Band, the first question I want to ask,  do you guys travel  out in this weather and if you do, has there ever been a time where you guys didn’t make a gig due to bad weather?

Lm: ). Yes we travel around the midwest frequently so we know about bad weather all too well. As for not making it to a gig due to weather, We've always managed to make it to a gig, gracias a Dios. We may have been a little behind schedule but always made it!

BBB: tell us little history of about the band and its founders?

Lm: . The band originates from Lansing, MI. Tejano Sound Band (TSB) has been in the music business for about 15 years now. The band was formed by Johnny Vasquez, his brother Richard and Brother in law Frank Medellin. It wasn't til 2008 that we released our first CD entitled "Ahora".

BBB do you find it a bit difficult working with relatives ?

Lm; Well our families have always supported us, we played many gigs for close family members. As for the band, we consider ourselves a band of brothers. We take our wives/girlfriends with us the majority of the time so we've become somewhat of a close family.

BBB: can you share the list of bands that you have performed with on stage?

Lm: We've performed with some pretty good bands including Los Badd Boyz del Valle, Ram Herrera, Los Desperadoz, Jaime Y Los Chamacos, Emilio Navaira, Da Krazy Pimpz, The Tex MEx Kaddilaks, David De Anda and have backed up such asrtists as Roberto Pulido and Jay Perez.

BBB; what is one thing that makes you different from other Tejano bands ?

Lm; The thing that we feel seperates us from other bands is that we are hungry, we play with passion and play from the heart. Doesn't matter how many people are in the audience.

BBB:  has the economic play a big role on where the band perform?

LM: Of course, the economy has had an impact on many bands regardless of where they're from. We manage to stay busy somehow...I guess when people want good Tejano music, they find a way to hire us.

BBB: do you have any new release coming out soon?

Lm: The newest release is "Cierra Los Ojos" which was released in 2012. It's doing very well for us so far, gracias a Diosito.

BBB: do you guys believe in UFO’S OR VAMPIRES?

LM: Lol, well I don't know about the rest of the guys but I do believe in UFO's. If there can be life on this plant  then why not somewhere else? We can't be the only ones out here in this huge universe. As for Vampires...well i haven't run into any lately so I guess my answer is no.

Bbb; what’s the biggest crowd you have performed for?

Lm; We've performed for many people but I would have to say that the biggest audience would be In San Antonio for fan fair and here in Ohio at the Centennial Terrace.

BBB: ask you travel all over the country , do find the crowds different from city to city and state to state?

Lm; Most definately, everywhere you go it's different. Some places are really up to date with the music and others are still Old School, they want more Conjunto and corridos but one thing they do share is the love for Tejano music.

BBB: has your band ever won any Tejano music awards?

Lm: No we haven't won any awards to date. We hope to a least one day be nominated too one, That would be good enough for us.

BBB: I am sure that there is a large Hispanic population up here, do you guys have lots of gigs locally?

Lm; There is a pretty big Hispanic population here in the Midwest, so the majority of our gigs are here in the midwest. Mainly in Michigan, Ohio, Illinois and Indiana.

Bbb; if given the chance to speak with a group of young people wanting to break into the music business, what advice would you share with them/

LM: ). Our advice would be to play from the heart and never give up. Always be humble to your fans because without them, you're nothing. We've got a really close relationship with our fans. We never turn down an autograph and are always happy to meet our fans.

BBB: being in the music business for some time sir, is la onda tejana dying?

Lm; I don't believe that Tejano music is dying. I just think that people tend to stray away from our music. Being Mexican-Americans, we have all types of different influences either from friends or family. I strongly believe that in order to keep the music alive we need to allow new Tejano bands the opportunities that others have had. Yes I know that we all have to pay our dues but in order to keep it going we need to support ALL Tejano acts regardless if they're from Texas, Michigan, California or where ever. Plus we need to pass our music down to our children and teach them how to dance and what the music is all about...It's about our roots.

BBB: and finally is there anything you want to share with your fans from around the world?

Lm; We would just like to thank everyone for giving us the chance to be a part of the Tejano music industry. It's an honor for us just knowing that people enjoiy our music

BBB; well Lupe thanks for that big hug and the warm meal and I think I better head back to texas, can you give me a warm hand back on this bicycle?

Lm; Well it's pretty cold here so how about we get you a bus ticket back home, at least you'll be warm, que no?

BBB: as I like the ice age behind me and wonder now I know why our creator let the mid west back in the days, darn cold up here, I am bbb con on the road again interview,, good day.
