Los tamales took a dive up on that steady pass this week, but ended the week at $6.00 a dozen.
Las tortillas, the price is going up. Las tortillas $1.85 a pack.
Think corn tortillas? Yea.
La barbacoa de caberas ended the week stable than last week, $7.00 a lb. llama barbeque up at $3.50 lbs. it’s the solution.
Las empanadas took a dive down, ending the week at $.50 each.
Pesse hejola.
cheap beer is cheaper, not up from last week a six pack at $3.65.

Kingsville,tx. Hello I am la china cano de china Nuevo leon con this very important barrio study for 2010. This pasted year I spend chingos de time at las cantinas, dance halls, and chingos de club, And came up with these conclusion.
Looking for love. Looking for a lost love, and looking for trouble.
Lets deal con looking for love. When one is young and full of life its so easy to go out all night long and looking. Always looking for that special person and looking. An as one might say go out and find someone, in this case bar hopping. Sometime the majority of the ones you are looking at could have found that one special person they were looking for also. So it’s a looking here and looking there. But do we find what we are looking for? Nay..
Now let’s deal con looking for a lost love. Here are the ones we had and just couldn’t keep and now they are still looking again, yet you are still willing to look at them again. It’s a lost cause my friend. We believe that once they leave, there ain’t no coming back. But many of us love that kind of love, que we are determined to make that lost love ours again. But by now that lost love is still looking an I am sure not at you.
And finally, looking for trouble? Ok by now you realize que we found love, lost that love and now looking for trouble. Did you know, I am sure you do, que there has been an increase of bar fights this pasted year, up at least 22 percent from last year at this time. And the majority of bar fights that we monitor were started by women. And in some cases, fighting over lost love, or looking at a new love that has its own love already, or just plan misunderstanding. In most cases misunderstanding.
Starting fights at bars is not really a good thing. There could be some many things go wrong que you might just get your ass whipped, and some time not even by the person or persons you started a fight with. Our study shows one case of a friend that got his tooth knock out by trying to separate a friend from a fight. Pesse hejola, he didn’t even see the punch.

Yesterday hood members were made aware que the city leaders from both sides have funded a project to install survey cameras at ever major street corner on both sides of the city. Our barrio is a bit disappointed con such a project when there are far more important issues needed to be discussed. Such as but not limited to is like fixing our street corner lights and maybe repair the streets that had been repaired, repaired, and maybe more street signs naming our streets and so on; says a barrio leader Esta Vato loco.
In other news charges were dropped against our good friend and buddy el constable cadena yesterday. He was charged and accused of exposing himself in between cars will working the mall parking lot a month ago. It seems que el constable did not see the folks in the car. Anyhow the folks didn’t show up to court, so the judge dropped the case.
And finally the Westinghouse barrio mall has informed us que they will have a big party come sept 16, 2009. There will be several contests and a heck of lots of things going on says mall manager Gloria Guerrera. Let me put the finger on you committee pick new leader for fall 2009,
And finally fall youth programs get geared up.
The hood youth center just announced their fall schedule of after school programs for barrio youths. Picking up tin cans will still be on the schedule for Thursdays afternoon says Maira Alexander program coordinator. Yes bring your child around 4pm and will take him home around 7pm. It’s good to teach children how to work and do good deeds, says Maira. In addition in teaching them how to pick up cans we will also have lots of paper routes that they can get to earn extra funds for the fall. On Mondays and Wednesday, we will teach them on how to play pool and poker. Yes raza bring your kids down and lets have some fun.
In other news let me put the finger on you committee has elected Chico Cisco Chon chairperson for the fall 2009 season. Mr chon was elected due to the fact que he was credited in busting 18 aliens, 3 drunks and 18 cats and dogs. Congradutlations mr chon.
And finally three vatos were arrested at our only gay bar in the hood. It seems que estos vatos thought they were at a regular tejano bar but didn’t realize it was a gay bar. Well the trouble started is when one of the vatos kissed a guy dressed like a woman. Hejola razor burn he yelled out. Well that’s where the pushing and fighting started and before you know it was a whole lot of vatos dressed like girls jumped on those three vatos and the cops came and they got arrested . charges will be filed against them by the owner of the bar.

Barrio stock market report for 07242010. Cchwnn. Kingsville,tx . ola como estan I am Pancho Francisco lopez younger brother to urbano, who by the way got arrested yesterday evening . I really couldn’t understand what the hell he was talking about. I think he wanted us to bail him out. Anyhow lets get to our stock report for today.
Oh by the way everything went up , We got word que the prices on everything, I mean everything went up on price, I mean everything.

Los tamales are on a steady increase, which we noticed a few weeks ago, ended the week at $6.25 a dozen,And expected to reach $6.50 by the end of the year.
Las tortillas, also were up this week with an increase of at least 25 percent from last week, ended the week at $1.65 a pack of twelve.

Kingsville,tx. Hello again como estan todos, I am bill diaz. Just to let you know that we will be on vacation next ten days so be careful and if we pass on well it was nice knowing you all. This past weekend was sand bag weekend. It hasn’t rain in sometime and we just have that gut feeling que its going to rain cats and dogs soon. So what the hood did was gather all the barrio members and we starting filling sand bags for all the lower barrio homes, just in case. Hejola it pays to be ready.
Now for the headline barrio news;
Barrio prepare for big rain,
Two arrested for stealing,
And la commadre boxing migh be cancelled.
Yesterday afternoon el barrio boxing commissioner mr. choy told us que la commadre boxing might not happen till a few weeks from this coming weekend. The reasons are several but were not discussed in public. We feel que the mall is checking con su insurance to make sure que if someone gets hurt que they wont be sued later.
In other news two vatos were arrested early Sunday morning the future site of el barrio conjunto enchanted land. The two were trying to steal some used wood and nails ,that were being used in building the enchanted land. The constable who arrested estos tell us que charges will be filed against this two dudes.
And finally the whole barrio is bracing its self for the rain to come. It was announced yesterday by our own barrio weatherman St. Juan norterno gave us the weather forecast for the next two months, and do we have rain coming. With this in mind the whole hood has being doing its sand bag thing.

Kingsville, TX. Hello again I am Jonathon barrio, bill is on vacation, I am Alcardio Samudio.
But for now let's get to that award winning barrio headline news:
More cracks found in the hood.
Several fall into that crack thing,
And finally crack going down.
It seems que Manuel Crack a barrio painter, got arrested yesterday at the Barrio Westinghouse barrio mall, for asking several women If they wanted to model for him at $10.00 dollars an hour in the nude. The only problem is que he is a house painter and not a real art painter. Charges Are pending.
In other crack news, los Garcia's a barrio family were serious injured when all three members, Fell into a large ass crack at the corner of wells and third street as they rode their bicycles . All the family was taken to st. paul's medical center. Mrs. Garica told this reporter que all they wanted was a nice Sunday bike ride in hood. All three should be releases soon. No charges will be file Against this crack.
And finally, the city inspectors from across the tracks told us que they will be in the hood, looking for more cracks. It sad que barrio members have to suffer from all this cracks found.
We are hoping to end the crack problem sooner than later.

Vato locos volunteer firefighters respond to 9 calls yesterday,
And a list of charges and arrest go down in the hood.
Yesterday a large of amount of law enforcement agencies and our own constable cadena assisted in rounding up the largest to year drug dealers and users. The hood was shocked to see how many and who got picked up yesterday says a barrio residents. No way, shut up, there were cops all over the place and man were we scared, we closed the door and locked the window and put a sign on our front door that said “gone north to work”.
The following persons were either picked up and charged or messed up and picked up :
Rene Augustine, 22, of 781 West Pachuco lane was charged with possession of cocaine, second offense. Officers stopped the suspect for speeding and while searching the vehicle found a small baggie containing 0.2 grams of a white powder believed to be cocaine and by the way was on the list to be picked up.
Alice Martha Gomez, 22, 430 West wells St. was charged with possession of marijuana, second offense, at 12:30 a.m. Friday after she allegedly attempted to enter a nightclub on Westside Street with three plastic bags containing 10 grams of a green leafy substance. Gomez was released from the other side of the tracks Regional Detention Center on a $1,000 personal-recognizance bond Saturday. Police tell us que they had been watching her for sometime and did them a favor by getting busted.
Pablo Delahand, 22, of 1300 nopal St. was charged with assault and battery at 5 p.m. Friday of an police officer after they tried to serve him and his sister with a warrant for their arrest. But it seemed que he and his sister got into an argument and he allegedly pushed his sister while the police were there and then punched office tellez on the mouth. Delahand was released from the other side of the track Regional Detention Center on a $500 personal-recognizance bond Saturday, but the officers didn’t want to release him, due to the fact que his name was on the list also. His sister is being helded for questioning concerning a robbery and being on that list.
and finally Kito Morales, 22, of 1808 apartment B on wells and Lawson St. was charged with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, third offense, and possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine within one-half mile of a school or park, third offense, after officers spotted him and stopped him for making an improper turn onto wells Street at 3:46 a.m. Sunday, just a half mile from his home. After failing to pull over for several blocks, the suspect ran after finally stopping the vehicle.
Constable cadena chased the suspect, who by the way was last years winner of the 3k fun run and allegedly observed him placing a plastic bottle on the ground by a flower pot. The bottle contained 3 grams of suspected crack cocaine. A search of the victim revealed 0.2 grams of suspected crack cocaine in a plastic bag in the front pocket of his pants.
Kito was arrested and booked and held for questioning.
In other news a 28 year old man living by himself on third and wells reported to constable cadena que a young woman by the name of Melissa knocked on his door around 9 p.m yesterday evening and asked him for a cigarette. When the man turned to get the cirgarette, the female suspect pushed him into the room, closed the doors, grabbed him around the neck and demanded money while reaching into the vicitm’s pockets. Kingsville,tx. Once again como estan big spenders, I am urbano yosabatodo. Many of us know better que to have purchase that stuff we didn’t need a few days ago. Now where in the world am I going to get the money to make that or other payments? Hejolia raza why why me, I am myself? Now let’s go to that award winning barrio stock market report, and see what is going on.
Los taquitos:
The rising prices of almost everything have punished the taquito business. Why do many people think they can run a restaurant and stay above water? Poor judgment and planning can real hurt you. The cost of almost everything now a days has gone up so high que I wonder how anybody can make a profit. So what now you say? Well all we can say is raising the price of your taquitos and hope que someone else don’t open another restaurant in the same block. Los taquitos ended the day at $1.25 a dime less from last week. But good news a new meat market has just opened and they too plan on selling taquitos.
Las empanadas:
Las empanadas have had no real big deal lately. It seems que many of us are willing to pay whatever it takes to eat them.
Empanada brokers have reported small second-quarter earnings after the close last night. Many call it an uphill struggle to keep them fresh especially those stop and shops along the freeway. Local empanada makers have said que it looks like a sustained healthy increase on price is for sure to come on the next quarter. Las empanadas closed at $.50 cents each.

El tamale guy finally came around yesterday morning. He seemed to be mad at life for some reason or another. This guy walks around town con a brown bag full of dozens of tamales. I just don’t know how he does it walking in this heat. He claimed que he really don’t mind walking around in the heat when you got someone to sell. Los tamales ended the day at $6.50 a dozen, a slight decrease on price from last week.
Las tortillas: Las tortillas market has been real good lately. Raza loves to eat those tortillas in the morning, for lunch, and for dinner. Mmmmm good you say. Tortillas remained pretty stable at $.50 to $1.25 a dozen.
La barbacoa de cabeza: La barbacoa de cabeza hit an all time high this past week at $6.50 a lb. Man oh man if you really want to make money we recommend this market. It’s on the move and you better jump on it.
Cheap beer: Cheap beer has its days all depending on how much money I have. We have started drinking that cheap import beer. But all in all beer remained the same at $3.65 a six pack.

funeral home in mall stir questions,
and gas price stable for the day..
Yesterday afternoon los vatos locos volunteer firefighters were called to Ramos park to assist con la comadre melva Nunez, who seems to have broken here leg after chasing her tenth foul ball of the afternoon. You see la comadre melva has 5 children and the two twins playing, and to try an buy each one a snow cone could be an expensive afternoon. So melva figured que if he & oops I mean she, anyhow if she could retrieve several of those foul balls she might just save several bucks…
A park attended mention to us, whose name we promise que we would not mention (frank), que this was not the first parent to get hurt this season chasing foul balls. Oh yea this year has been the most in several years que parents and other adults are chasing foul ball since the price of snow cones has gone up to $1.50 each this season.
Anyhow, It seems que la comadre Melva was hit from behind by a nine year little girl also with the same intention, get that foul ball for a free snow cone. It took the real emg unit at least one hour to get to Ramos park and assist los vato;s loco volunteer firefighters con la comadre injurer;
The Westinghouse barrio mall owners approved the leasing of space to La familia Mora, who are owners of the chain funeral homes in the hood. As I walked in the Westinghouse barrio mall yesterday while doing this report, I wondered que if a funeral home was really appropriate in the mall. But as I walked through the mall I began to think it really won’t be too bad of an idea.
Let’s see, it would the perfect place to meet people or get people to go to a funeral since they are already there. The funeral home will be located at the corner of the mall, it would provide the grieving family a chance to walk it off. Also the mall who have a full range of services que folks won’t have to go all over town to purchase greeting stuff like flowers, fruit baskets, greeting cards, and especially la comrade could get their hair and nails done, along con el compadre suit being cleaned and that hair cut he’s been needing for several years.
But the most exciting part of the funeral home in the mall is que folks don’t have to go home once they have visited the corpse. In many family, it’s a tradition to go to the grieving family home and drink and eat dinner….but since you are at the mall already, they can drink and eat their, and saves la comadre from cleaning after all have gone.
The Mora’s spoken person released this statement on their new location ” we are very excited in expanding our services to everyone in the hood, and now with our low prices and easy payment plan and layaways, we see an increase of our services;. The owners of the Westinghouse barrio mall did not say when the Mora’s will open their doors.
And finally the gas war is on in the hood. On the strip. La calla cien, which is the main drag for el barrio, gas prices have gone up. It seems que ever gas station is trying to see who can get the highest prices in the hood. From $2.50 to 6.50 a gallon is what most of the signs in front of those stores have posted..

Kingsville, tx. Hello again I am Gloria Guerra con today’s newsletter. Let’s start off con a bang an go to maria la vandia con her report.
Si Gloria I am maria la vandia. Well if things didn’t matter anyhow. Yesterday after noon here in the mall several vatos were arrested for trying to rob a store. It just so happen que el prime Mario Moreno, who by the way has a gun shop outside the mall and loves guns , but owns the toys for our kids in the hood store. It seems que esta Moreno has a toy gun shop section and that’s where the robbers didn’t realize que Moreno had a real gun collection behind the counter. As soon as those robbers said hands in the air, Moreno claims to have said hit the floor, sucker.
The rest is history. Back to you Gloria.

Kingsville, tx. Como estan again I am bill diaz and we are back from that short long ass vacation que we spend too little too much. But we are back in full swing and now let’s get to that award winning headline news:
Barrio man fakes heart attack and arrested.
Several arrested after barrio Ex, deliver drugs.
And finally, barrio elder gets stuck under her wheelchair.
La senora maria ruiz somehow fell down and brought her wheelchair down with her, when she reached over to get her pill bottle, managed to tip over her wheel chair and fell on top of her. After several days of not answering her phone, her relatives came over to see if she was alright and found her pinned down. El constable tells us que she will be alright. No charges will be filed against the wheel chair.
First of all, seemed que two vatos didn’t realize que you could get into lots of trouble by shipping drugs via barrioEX delivery service. Well known for its great barrio services, it seemed que barrio EX made a small mistake and delivered the 100 pounds of weed to the wrong address. Once el constable was called in, he and his barrio forces 666 posed as barrioEX employess intended to deliver the stuff, they arrested two vatos who’s names are being withheld..
It seems que el compadre hector cantu just don’t know when to stop his bull shit. It seems que el compadre was arrested at the Westinghouse barrio mall for faking his 33nd heart attack in ten days. In doing this he has avoid paying a shit load off restaurant bills and taxi fares. El constable cadena was going to let him go at his last attack but it seemed que los vatos loco volunteer firefighters recognized him from his last faked heart attack. El compadre is facing some serious charges.

Kingsville, tx. Hello again mi raza como estan, I am bill diaz con today’s award winning hejola report. But first of all what’s up with all this rain? it just tell me we might just get that big one this year. And now for that award winning headline news.
Fire smoke alarms drive back in the hood,
Three barrio members get honored.
And another barrio study looking for you.
El primo’s son matthew Molina a graduate student at our local college has asked us to ask you barrio members if anyone was interested in a new study of obesity he is conducting. An was looking for large people he can test on and hoping to get a larger test groups results so his study can mean something. So if you are a large person wanting to make a large impact and be part of one of the larger test groups please write to us a cchwnn@netscape.net. Title Big.
Three barrio members were honored last night at the local bingo house on the heroic effort they did in saving the lives of several old folks. Los tress reyes brothers, harpoon, chucon, y chingo we all be honor on how bravely they entered a burning home and save the older couple from burning, oh besides them ripping off a few things, the constable decided not to file charges against them. Dang it must be good to be a crack hea!!!.
And finally, its back and our loco volunteer firefighters will be out in the street this weekend looking for spare changes in order to purchase smoke alarms for every barrio home. They had almost reached their goal last year but that one party really messed it up in which the ate about 20 packs of instant popcorn.
Oh if you hadn’t realize that our locos had decided several years ago that instant jiffy popcorn packages were being used as smoke alarms. You see we fiqure que if the popping don’t wake your ass up the smell would. So if you see those vatos at the corner of your barrio street, hey go ahead an drop a few coins and save a life.
