And finally some good news.

Well finally our own barrio weather man San Juan Norterno told a group of folks wondering what the weather forecast was looking like for the next two weeks. He told them nice and sunny.

In other news, A whole lot of adults attending our local GED campus were given the week off for spring break, and many of them adults took it literally and went to the local barrio swimming hoe. Many told us que they plan on camping out for a few days. Have fun raza.

And finally,For some reason or another people everywhere thinks that spring break applies to everyone? Well here in the hood isn’t an exception, yesterday la commadre Julia Gonazeles was arrested for sun bathing on her front year wearing a homemade tong. When the constable arrived and did notice la commadre lying on her beach chair and wearing something similar to a tong. The constable asked la commadre que that thing she was wearing did not have a barrio authorization number on it. Once she realized que it didn’t have one she decided to go in her house.

>Los  tamales are on a steady increase, which we noticed a few weeks ago, but took a dive up on that steady pass this week, ended the week at $6.00 a dozen.

 

>Las tortillas, remain pretty stable for now but predicted to go up on price, tortillas $1.50 a pack of twelve. Think corn tortillas?

 

< la barbacoa de caberas remained stable, ended the week at bit lower, $6.00 a lb. llama barbeque at $2.50 lbs. it’s the solution.

 

 

And that cheap beer, as a matter of fact went down a bit to a low time low  last week but took that hike this week up to of $3.95 a six pack.

Barrio schools closed for 5 minutes yesterday.

More red white and green flags found.

And finally some good news.

Tejano were real surprise yesterday que our creator had join hands con a real on line radio station to be a radio d.j. and have his own program. An out pour of phone calls were made to our command post leaving messages que we should leave Tejano the way it is.  And the idea of producing another Tejano program was not American. Why would you want to do that for?

Yesterday undercover cops busted a few Tejano residents when they were seen burning and tore down a few flags that some of the children had made for their history of Latinos in the hood. One of the Tejano residents’s arrested and told the cop’s que he would never allow a green, red, and black, orange, yellow and some white on it flags to fly in the hood. He was taken to new lalala ward for observation.

 

And finally, what seemed like a good idea when they build that new school right next to lalala ward, but later realized que it really wasn’t. That determination was realized yesterday when a group of lalala patients were seen walking around wearing their white bath robes. Some of the students and school staff called the cops thinking que it was the Klan on an attack of the building. The school officials called for a lock down that only lasted 5 minutes when they realized que it was only a few patients had existed the ward without permission.

Old news isn’t new news for some Latinos or whatever.
Fight breaks out between two anti barrio groups.
And finally some good news.
Yesterday a group of good tejanos donated 2 tons of recycle cans for this years easter recycle can hunt. The barrio members in charge told ...us que it was a blessing in the sky. And they wanted to thank all the beer drinkers that attended last weekend beer fest for its dontation. Que viva la raza y la tortilla de mesa.
Yesterday two of the best anti latino, anti migrant, anti seasonal farmworkers, anti hotel workers, anti yard workers, and some anti restaurant workers and anti conjuntos, got into a hug fight over how many tamales can a family make at home now that easter is just around the corner. Let me put the finger on you and barrio Americans for better tamales members were arrested and many weren’t, that because they take cheap shots at those that have no beef with them. One barrio member told us que many already forgot our roots and forgot where our forefathers came from. Oh well.

Yesterday at the last city hall meeting members of so call group of Latinos mad at other Latinos agreed to protest an upcoming festival that will not feature their favor musical groups. One of the Latinos leaders said que they were tired of all the illegal and their music, cultural, languages, and food they brought with them. Furthermore he believed que we should not even have that festival and they also agreed to who brought them here? The city leaders decided not to talk about this matter till 2033.

Our creator Daniel makes it look so easy by sending me to mexico to meet up con Saraly del Conjunto La Promesa, and now for that interview.   Sc: hello Saraly, can you give me a hand off this bicycle please. Sa:of course!!!!!!! hi to everybody in texas my english is bad lol! Sc;don’t feel bad my English is bad also, first of all can you tell us a little bit of who is Saraly and when did your Tejano music career start? Sa:well i live in monterrey mex. i love the tejano music when my brother listen the music imagine play accordion lol! and then started my crazy on the music when i had 14 years old and start la promesa to me SC; what are the differences between norteno, vs. Tejano music if any? Sa:in mexico have good accordionists ramon ayala , juan villarreal but i love the tejano style is most fun and you can play with the accordion with jazz , blues , etc the difference i think is the tones the tejano music play many armonies i like that SC: when you were a little girl what Tejano artist did you listen to ? Sa:i have many idols tejanas like shelly lares, elida reyna, laura canales, elsa garcia , jean lee grand .. wow they are awesome and the gentlemens mazz, david lee garza, jay perez gary hobbs , many groups Sc: have you ever toured the united states? Sa;yes i was in houston texas , san antonio i was in tejano music awards 2004 went to san antonio to see the show ... was a dream to me and imagine a once day i want be there then the frist time la promesa was in houston and now will be the second time in san antonio tx 16 march ... SC: how many members are there in La Promesa conjunto and is there any other women in the group? Sa: the guys are like my brothers, only is me the girl on the group lol they say is enough lol is fun because im like a boy with skirt but when i meet a guy , the boys ask who is he? lol SC: looks like a bunch of brothers, do you find it difficult to work with other conjuntos? Sa:noo all the people is very nice with la promesa .. i have great friends in other bands in texas SC: from all the events that you have performed, which one is still fresh in your mind? Sa; of course it had to be “ monterrey far west rodeo” stands out the most,  is my home and other is in houston tx Sc; have you ever share the stage with other conjuntos? Sa: in monterrey with the garcia bros, aldo sierra , many groups in mexico Sc: do find it easy to be a teacher during the day and a conjunto super star at night/ Sa:i love my class , i'm musician teacher on a junior high and i have a school also , a music school , every day i have class on the junior high and my school then ... i love my work .. its dificult wake up on the mornings after the dance . but i go to my work and the guys say hey silent! la profe tuvo baile anoche lol! "the teacher went a dancing yesterday! lol Sc; what are you long term goals for la onda tejana? Sa: i want lol ... i want play my music with many artist in texas ... with my idols .... a duet! and i want awards other awards SC: have you ever won any Tejano music awards? Sa: the frist is a tejano globe award.. the last year SC: since you already face young people every day, what encouraging words would you share with them about getting into the music business? Sa:it's hard but you should always think big and believe in what you do ... never let SC; do you have a recording contract and how difficult was it? Sa: no in this moment no ... SC: and finally, what would you like to share with your fans from around the world? Sa:.. It was a great 90 days that Veronica Lesbians and I spend around the world gathering news and interesting stuff you all might want to know about. Since our arrival back a few years ago, Ronnie and I have been able to put some real good information together for you. And finally the dollar is weak everywhere.

 

After our visit to Germany a few days ago, it seemed que all the women under the age of 45 were shaving their head. It seems que many women from around the world love to follow the trends on hair dos and stuff. Well Brittany has sure had an impact here in Germany con su new onda de being pellona. Las pellon moment has not really been very successful yet but it’s a matter of time when I am sure que la commadre too will be walking around pellona tambien.

In other world news we encounter an increase of gun fire along side of shawn path. The fighting along Shawns path is located here in our own hood. It seems que el constable y el ojo junior barrio security forces 666 have taken a strong hold along this path. The insurgents are members of some gang in the hood and are presently surround by this extreme barrio force and are waiting to see if they will take over this compound. The insurgents are part of that group that killed el ojo junior and are determined to get to panzone caliente. The number of attempts in getting to panzone has not slacked off since he was rescued a few weeks ago. El constable tells us que they have found proof que their efforts to kill panzone will not cease until they have eliminated.

 

And finally the American dollar has dropped a bit worldwide. We noticed que our dollar was not buying what we thought you could buy for a dollar. Just yesterday afternoon we read que on the counterfeit market el dollar is worthy $.60 cent. Wow, why we ask our self would someone want to use counterfeit money when we aren’t got any money at all.

For some reason or another barrio buyers have shown us que they have faith in our barrio stock after the wake yesterdays widespread panic. My god haven’t this folks learned about the world wide stock market? We have said this time after time why would you invest your hard earned money on stuff you will neither ever see or ever eat? Huh? Lets go to pancho lopez my bro, con his analyses on this matter, pancho:

 

Pancho: si thanks urban, well yo don’t understand why in the world are we so freaking worried about them chinnese? Chinga unless que esto pincha chinos are thinking of coming into the hood and buy us all out is one story pero if they aint coming over here let them stay there then. Look raza mucho want us to think que los chinos are the big problems in today’s market. It aint our fault que everything made in plastic well almost , made in china. So what, I quess it’s better than made in mexico or no? Huh. Now back to urbano.
