hejolia report for 05202009

Hejolia report from New York city barrio daily for 05212009.
Ccwhnn.
Kingsville, tx. Heaveno raza I am Bill Diaz from the most beautiful city in the world, I would know, New York City. Well since our creator got us back to the good ole usa from our world barrio tour,we decided to moved into our new office we, that’s Bill Diaz y Maria la vandia y Frankie tuxedo zungia and last but not least Jonathon Barrio all jumped in a taxi a decided to go eat at some Mexican restaurant or something that looked Mexican. Due to our surprise we found several places to eat Mexican food. Hejolia next time we are going to us the sub way.
Anyhow we asked this Chicano looking taxi driver, which by the way was not Chicano and if he knew of any Mexican restaurant, and if he could take us there. Well esta vato took us uptown and then downtown and then here and there until we finally stopped. We stopped and ate at a place called SoHo Cantina, 199 Prince St., and b/t Sullivan and MacDougal Sts.. We were not sure what type of Spanish they spoke, but we did have a darn good time. We ordered the special of the day, which was Piggy roast, two-buck tacos, and live musica. We had a great old time and it’s Festivals for all of us. So make sure an stop at this SoHo Cantina we do recommend it.
Now for our award winning headline barrio daily news:
Barrio residents at east Brooklyn are asked to remove grapefruit tree,
Young Texan resident in NYC sues video distributor,
And finally thieves carry off empty safe.
Let go with Jonathon barrio who has that story: si, Bill,
Just yesterday a city court order la familia Saenz back to court in a few days. It seems que they la familia Saenz, who wanted to save their beloved backyard grapefruit tree from those ugly city workers who had orders to bring down any tree found in a ten mile rations north of central park, a new city eradication program. The family hired a lawyer from el barrio lawyers and us, who helped the family, file a formally claimed immunity for the tree under a provision in the 1949 Geneva Conventions. La familia Saenz lawyer pointed to a paragraph on protecting crops needed for civilians' survival during wartime, in that, said Eddie Mustard their lawyer said, "As I understand it, (the U.S.) Is in a state of war." But that didn’t make any differences to a city department of parks and trees spoken person who responded by saying: "That tree will be coming down.” He told this reporter. Another hearing is scheduled for June to review this matter.
Now back to Bill.
Now let go con Maria la vandia with this report. Thank you Bill, I am Maria la vandia. Yesterday 18-year-old Texan now living here in New York City hood told us que she was suing a video distributor for a steamy “ spring break “ video she did a year ago here in central park. The young Texan admitted that she had consented to be in a video topless, but then was only 17 at the time (and therefore a minor) and now fears the video's circulation will hamper her in "college," "career" and "church." Not only that she said, my breasts are a bit bigger now she told me. Wow.
And finally let visit con Frankie tuxedo Zungia a nonprofit group of Chicanos that serves the poor here in south new York city, they told us que thieves broke in and carried off a 450 lb safe from their office. But center director Sue Simple Simon Rodriquez said that not only was the safe empty but the group had decided to junk it a while back and was looking for someone to haul it away. They wanted to thank the person or persons that were able to carry that 450 lb safe safely.

Well that is it for today, have a great day.
