BARRIO INSURANCE AGENT ARRESTED ON BURGLARY,
BRAWL WITH OWNER OF PIT BULL,
AND BARRIO MEMBERS TAKE VOTE TO DISBAND CONSTABLES FORCE.
CONSTABLE CADENA yesterday charged a barrio model citizen Ernie Cruz with 25 counts of burglary. The owner of an insurance company, “EL Hood let me cover your ass” and also a part-time Sunday school teacher, was accused of entering the homes of his barrio friends for over a 6-year period. He, Mr. Cruz, knew they would be away and stole about 500 valuables things from their homes. According to constable cadena, it seemed that Ernie was always late to a golfing foursome because he stopped off to burglarize the homes of the barrio golfer partners. And another time he excused himself midway during a lunch date, allegedly dashed away to burglarize his compadres home and returned as the main course was being served. But the final blow came when He also allegedly stole from hospitalized friends' home during hospital visiting hours but didn’t realize que his friend had invited his brother to stay at his home while in the hospital. Further Charges are pending.
In other news yesterday afternoon a student from our hood Jose Gonzales Gonzales brawled with the owner of a pit bull, Alfred Alan. But before the constable could break up the fight, damage had already been done to Jose Gonzales face, legs and head. The constables reports says que the incident began when Gonzales Gonzales, in the midst of a night drinking with friends, started to urinate against a small mesquite tree and accidentally sprayed the dog, which by the way was also urinating against the tree. Charges are pending for both the dog and Mr. Gonzales.
And finally yesterday afternoon, After voting last year failure to disband the barrios constables office, residents of our barrio members will vote this weekend again to disband the whole barrio government. A major reason was dissatisfaction with the large number of traffic tickets, uncalled search without proper cause, looking through barrio residents windows late at night and on and on that constable cadena has been doing this pasted few years. Constable Cadena told this reporter que he had no comments.
