Hello again raza. In the last few weeks we have stopped using heaveno, due to the fact that the guy who thinks he thought it up told us not to use it anymore. Ok buddy, we won’t, oh by the way heaveno to you too.
I feel better raza, you know It’s one of those things between being creative and not caring. Well we here and you there do care about everybody on here so god bless all of us. Now for the barrio stock market report:
Las empanadas: Las empanadas like everything else top a slight jump on price this past week. Not enough rain nor snow could have saved this season pineapples, pumpkins, and sweet potatoes. In addition ,some major stores are keying on this coming holidays to make up for any loses they have had this past few quarters. Las empanadas ended the week at $.70 cent each.
Los taquitios: Los taquitios stands come and go in the hood like we have reported in the pass. But for some reason this quarter the number of new taco stands have been limited. There are several reasons for that. One reason is that our city offical’s are trying to crack down on the number of businesss opening up on this side of the tracks. There has been a 39 percent increase on business opening up on this side of the tracks ranging from tacos stands to ice cone stands. Compared to a 2 percent increase across the tracks. El taquito market stands, stand a big chance of making a good showing this coming quarters of the year and will remain stable. Los taquitos ended the week at $1.45 each or 2 tacos for $1.89, a great deal raza, if you can find that one taco stand.
Las tortillas: Las tortilla market found itself in big trouble this past week. One of el hood tortilla makers had several folks picketing their front door. Several parents and folks were complaining to the tortillas company, that a large bunch of tortilla were still sticking together. At least 50 packets were brought back for exchange or their money back. Not good for business says a tortilla maker whose name we won’t mention (ramon hamon). Las tortillas ended the week at $1.25 cents to $1.60 a pack of 12 tortillas.
La barbacoa de cabeza: La barbacoa stood real firm all week on its prices and will remain pretty stable till end of the year. The hog and beef market has not been effected to much by the high price on gas. You do understand that if you take your little piggy to market, it will cost you some money, just to get there. La barbacoa ended the week at $6.50 a lbs, A slight jump from last week.
Cheap beer: Cheap beer will remain higher than ever, Now that many of la raza are not going out and spending mucho money, Cheap beer ended the week at $4.56 a six pack.
