spring youth programs and you 2010.

Cchwnn: Spring Youth programs and you 2010.
Kingsville, TX. Hello again I am Frankie Tuxedo Zungia with this exclusive report on Spring Youth programs and you, yes you the parent. As we approach this spring youth programs such as baseball and soccer and who knows what else, you the parent are faced con chingos de decisions. One has to wonder if we even have time to do stuff like that with our children.

You know and I am sure you do our children, am the leaders of tomorrow but am they all going to be leaders, but that’s another issue folks, but for now, let’s talk about your responsibilities as a barrio parent.
First of all don’t complaint about how much it’s going to cost. We got stuff in the garage that we don’t even use. So how about selling some of that stuff to cover any expenses you might occur while you watch panchito play ball. Than there those darn practices. You know if panchito don’t practice he might not grow up to be that team player and that leader we are hoping he grows up to be.

Then there are those games that are held so darn early that you might even have to use some of your leave at work to be able to get there on time. And then to top it off, it might even be your turn as a parent to bring the whole darn team a snack and a drink for after the game.

So let’s say your kid made the practice, then made the game and then only played one inn and batted only one time. Now was that fun or what? Than once he got to hit the ball he was called out by some volunteer umpire that doesn’t know shit from shineola. And to top it off, you were asked to leave because you wanted to argue that bad call.
But way before you got runoff; you bought some refreshments at the ball park. So now you figure that it would have been much cheaper if you would have chased a few foul balls you could have saved a few dollars. Oh by the way in some places parents are prohibited from chasing foul balls for free snow cones.
And finally you leave the park all dusty and tired and your kids want to stop and get something to eat. Now you wonder how much it is going to cost to raise this future leader. All and all children are the leaders of tomorrow, many might not grow up to be the next home run king or even the next Mickey mantle but they might be the next county commissioner or even a lawyer, than you will ask yourself it was worth the time and effort you as a parent put into raising your child.
But than what do I know I am just a make believe person. I am Frankie tuxedo Zuniga.
