barrio economic development study for 2009

Cchwnn: self analysis : our barrio economic development study for 2009.
Barrio economic development study results for first quarter of 2009.
Now with that report is David Duran.
Heaveno raza, I am standing right here at the corner of third and Richard street Looking down to the end of this block. Many time we report on things that happen here in hood or our barrio. Well it’s all comes down to one block and that’s our block. The 400 hundred block of west Richard.
The barrio economic development study our staff has come up with was one to gather valuable information about our barrio members. In the following areas:
Number of people living at your address
Ages
Ethnic background
Income levels
Educational level
Number receiving some type of federal and state or public assistance

The following is a non-scientific study and was put together by drinking beer several afternoons con the people that live in our hood.
One sunny day and three cases of beer we were able to put together this Barrio economic development study:

Part one
The number of persons that live in our both sides of the block was: 51 people

Part two
Ages:

17 and under: 20

18 to 39: 13

40 to 62: 16

63 years and over: 5

Part three:

Annual Income level (only the ages of 18 and over):

Less than $10,000: 8

Cont. part three-income level.

From $11,000 to $19,000: 10

From: $20,000 to $32,000: 7

From $33,000 and over: 3

Total of wage earns: 28 persons

The above total is those that we know que are employed.

Part four:

Educational level:
(Again this is from the ages of 18 and over)

abe/ged: 18

Tech/cert/or other: 0

College bachelors: 1

College masters: 2

Part five:

How many are getting some public assistance:

Please note que from the 12 households that live in the hood. The number of family/members of household reported que they were getting some kind of aid: 13 report some kind of of aid was being received.

Well there you have it. More information about our hood than what you needed. You too can conduct such a non-scientific study, just purchase several cases of beer and invite everyone over.

Again thanks to the small grant/loan/never pay me back funds that were donated to us.

From our old 1978 ford whatever, I am david duran.
