It seems que la commadre Carmen Molina, age 89, collided con the only train that travels through the hood early yesterday morning. She told this reporter que she heard the whistle but thought it was those crack heads that hang out by the tracks whistling at her. Not realizing it was the train, she collided her three wheel bicycle into the side of the train. She was not seriously injured but the bike didn’t make it. Pieces of the three wheeler ended up all over the place. Charges are pending.
In other news, Our constable cadena tells us que Chris Garcia, a retired milkman for over 30 years, was arrested this past Saturday when one of our off barrio security force 666 stopped Mr. Garcia and his old milk truck for running a stop sign on our side of the tracks. During the regular inspection one of the officers bought a small bottle of milk, to his surprise found a small amount of marijuana inside the bottle. El senor garica was arrested for possession and supplying marijuana, driving without a licenses, no inspection sticker on the truck, expired milk union membership card, charged with acting as a milkman, selling milk without a permit, and many more charges still pending. The constable is going to go over the list of person he was delivering the so call milk. The constable is asking for your help in turning yourself in to him if you were one of his customers. It seems that the at this point Mr. Garcia‘s customers were elderly persons suffering from aches and pain.
And finally, the only public barrio drunk , Nancy Adams Rivera, was arrested Sunday morning around 11:50am when the owner of the only GO and STOP refused to sell her beer. She was informed que we don’t sell beer on Sundays till 12 noon. Nancy took it on her own to call 918 and complain about the owner of the go and stop not wanting to sell her beer before noon. Once the el constable got there, they arrested Nancy with disorderly conduct and was later released on bond.
