Cchwnn: exclusive interview con Country Pancho y County Leroy.
Hello raza once again I am Bill Diaz con my side kick and twin brother Jonathon barrios on the road back to texas from nyc. Well we decided to visit our old pals pancho y Leroy here in Kentucky and man are they doing good . So with that on mind here is our interview:
BD: hello boys how you all be doing?
Pancho: gee sir ain’t seen you guys since we left that resort at those watermelon field down there by Falfurrias. Leroy: me three.
BD: I see you got a brand new single out, “I ‘m gringo con Mexican heart and blood”. Can you tell us about this single?
Pancho: sure can, it’s a single that we hope to put on our third cd. You know for all you gringos that didn’t realize or didn’t knew we do have two cd’s out already and its well documented, so you all white folks don’t think this Mexicans are being rude, or we are being rude with you all mexicans. But we are sure happy that we have sold some singles here to my uncle and aunts and so on, Leroy?
Leroy: you see Bill we have been having a hard time telling if we are Mexican or gringo, so we decided to write this song to make sure all them folks know who we are.
BD: good boys now when do you all plan on heading back to texas?
Pancho: well darn it Bill since you and your bro are here we going head-out back with you today, what do you think Leroy?
Leroy: you mean back to texas, heck yea, lets pack our stuff and hit them road with them boys.
Bd: ok hold guys, you mean to tell us that you want to head back to texas?
Leroy/pancho: yeaper.
Bd: ok, raza there you have it Country Pancho y County Leroy on the road again con us back to texas. Just for the record, country pancho y county Leroy have recorded two cd’s: TWO VATOS ON THE PROWL AND TWO VATO LOST UP THE BLACK HILLS. We are hoping to record their third cd once they get to Texas named: “I am Mexican like it or not”. For sure we will get some slack for this but we are just make believe, heck what do we know…?
